#Breaking : JNU professor and Congress MP dismissed
Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, Congress MP from Inner Manipur and a former JNU professor, has been dismissed from his teaching post following sexual harassment allegations made by female students.
Key points -
* 11 female students reportedly complained of sexual harassment and inappropriate conduct.
* 9 October: JNU dismissed him after an internal inquiry.
* 12 October: Delhi Police registered an FIR concerning the allegations.
* 14 October: Police issued him a notice to join the investigation.
* 15 October: Akoijam travelled to Delhi to cooperate with the police probe.
What are the allegations?
The complaints reportedly concern sexually suggestive remarks, inappropriate behaviour and alleged harassment of students. These are allegations, not a final criminal court verdict.
What does the MP say?
Akoijam denies the allegations and has called the university's inquiry unfair and politically motivated. He has indicated that he will challenge his dismissal.
BJP leaders have demanded action against him, including calls for his resignation. However, dismissal from his JNU job does not automatically remove him from Parliament.
He has lost his JNU professorship, and the police investigation is ongoing. His parliamentary membership is a separate matter.

Journalist Rosy allegedly filed a false sexual assault complaint against ACP Vivek Bhagat. The case was handed over to the Crime Branch, and Bhagat himself postponed his DCP promotion.
Now, ACP Vivek Bhagat has filed an SC/ST Act case against Rosy, her colleague Gajendra.
Vivek Bhagat belongs to a Scheduled Caste community. Rosy allegedly looked at his nameplate and said, “Ye Bhagat hai, Meghwal hote hain, ye chhoti jaati ke hote hain, silai-bunai ka kaam karte hain. Ye saala kahan se ACP ban gaya?”
Bhagat said the incident affected his mental health and damaged his reputation so he has now filed an SC/ST Act case against three individuals.
Reports say the FIR was registered at Parliament Street police station on October 13, 2026, naming Rosy, Gajendra Singh and an unidentified person. The quoted remarks about Bhagat's Megh/Meghwal caste and his appointment as an ACP appear in reporting of Bhagat's complaint. They have not been established as proven facts by a court.
The SC/ST Act contains provisions restricting anticipatory bail under Section 18, subject to judicial interpretation and exceptions where a prima facie offence is not made out. That does not mean every person named in an FIR under the Act will automatically be arrested or punished.
Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka Arrest
On 13 October 2026, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were detained at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, during a protest demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation and opposing voter-list revisions.
Police alleged that they crossed barricades, violated protest-site restrictions and breached earlier bonds to maintain peace.
On 14 October 2026, A Special Executive Magistrate ordered five days of judicial custody at Tihar Jail.
The reported proceedings refer to Sections 126, 130 and 136 of the BNSS for preventive action and peace-bond proceedings, and Section 170 for preventive arrest. Potentially relevant BNS offences include Sections 189 (unlawful assembly), 221 (obstructing a public servant) and 223 (disobeying a lawful order), but the exact FIR charges have not been independently verified.
Next court date: 19 October 2026, according to the reported order.
Vishakha Ojha, a 26-year-old woman from Agra, went missing and her body was later recovered from the Yamuna River in Etawah, reportedly inside a sack.
Her boyfriend, Shivjeet Bhadauria, a government revenue official (lekhpal), was arrested in connection with the case. According to reports, the two had been in a relationship for around two years, and tensions allegedly arose over marriage after he married another woman.
Police reports say the accused claimed Vishakha died by suicide and that he disposed of her body. However, her family alleges murder, and the exact circumstances of her death remain a matter for investigation.

Hypothetical Election Scenario:
Imagine that Rahul Gandhi leaves the Congress and joins the BJP, eventually becoming the Prime Minister of India under the BJP banner.
Meanwhile, the Congress, AAP, and other opposition parties merge into a single political party, with Narendra Modi becoming its leader and the Leader of the Opposition.
In this completely hypothetical situation, where Rahul Gandhi leads the BJP-led government and Narendra Modi leads a united opposition, how would the next Indian general election unfold?

Dipke Sir, the words “Coward” and “Dictator” cannot go together in a single sentence.
Note: A coward cannot be a dictator, and a dictator cannot be a coward.
They have removed Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site.
Yes, it’s no a longer protest site as anyway it was turned into a war zone by the coward dictator.
Ab poora desh Jantar Mantar banega!
It’s not just about mobile data, sir. We have vast coastlines, dense forests, mountainous regions, and the Himalayas. Imagine the potential for illegal activities and covert communications facilitated by Starlink satellites in these remote and hard-to-monitor areas.

Tomorrow, 12th October, India marches peacefully as one to the Supreme Court.
Students, civil society organisations, Opposition parties: Please join us to defend our democracy.
#ChaloDilli
Yesterday, the nation's young came out in Delhi to peacefully protest. They came with love in their hearts, not hatred or anger. They were beaten, both by cops and BJP goons.
This is not the India we want.
Tomorrow, we will march to the Supreme Court as Indians, united beyond party, gender, caste, community and state.
Youth, all opposition parties, civil society groups, all those who believe in democracy and stand by the Constitution of India, will walk with us.
We will submit a memorandum to the Chief Justice on behalf of the nation, demanding an end to vote chori, halting of SIR and the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar.
Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Ajit Doval and Mohan Bhagwat cannot silence India's voice. These cowards cannot intimidate us. They will have to step aside.
We will march together, with love, brotherhood and patriotism.
Daro mat.
Tomorrow, all of India will march to the Supreme Court.

Guys, I’m trying to understand this platform, but I’m confused about which group I should follow, the Left Wing or the Right Wing.
As an Indian and a patriotic citizen, which group should I join if my goal is to improve people’s mindsets and contribute to the betterment of our country? It seems that every group promotes its own agenda or narrative, sometimes by sharing misleading, distorted, or even fake information. How can we identify which group genuinely works for the welfare of the Indian people and the progress of our nation?
As an Individual content creator, I think being neutral is very hard to survive. You will be villian in every group's story.
