I (@cedricdoesstuff) have a bit of a personal announcement to make regarding Smallman, ARIOX, Elcra, and all other projects under the Smallman brand that I lead. I decided to tweet this on the company account since we've got a Blue subscription here aka I can make long tweets now.

A little over a year ago, I started Smallman Interactive as a studio brand/legal umbrella for ARIOX, a Minecraft server that I got ownership of around that time. Since then, a lot of things have changed and ARIOX has expanded beyond its original form of being a little survival Minecraft server.

That being said, I'd like to announce that I'm going to be taking a hiatus and halting my work on Smallman projects for some time. This also means Smallman Live unfortunately won't be able to take place at the planned date.

This was an extremely difficult decision for me and I did not take it lightly. The main reason: While I've had tons of fun working on ARIOX and Elcra, I've come to realize that my habits have started to take a toll on both my mental health and the quality of my work.

I've noticed that with ARIOX, I've slowly started to have issues producing quality content without having piles of stress throughout the day and often still ending up making sub-par work. I've become much less satisfied with the content I'm creating and admittedly, I've had full-on mental breakdowns over this. And the fact that I need to balance this with school doesn't make things any better.

It seems absurd but I feel that the most logical thing to do in this situation *is* an abrupt hiatus.

I sincerely apologize to anyone who was anticipating Smallman Live or any of the things I promised. I will return to this project at some point - but right now the pressure is too high for me to keep doing this. I plan on eventually coming back, but I really need a break.

TL;DR: I've realized that I may be getting burnt out and that I'm producing sub-par content, so I've decided to take a temporary hiatus from Smallman, ARIOX, and Elcra.
