The practice of giving our time will invite many of us to revisit our existing priorities and commitments. Being bound by our employers can inflict a sense of being trapped without the autonomy to decide for ourselves how our time is used. @wearetakingtime

As we reach the end of Taking Time, Andy and I share some of our own thoughts.
This week @AndyKelham invites us to consider the normal stuff, where most of our lives are won and lost. An encouragement to value the things that time can never change.

The pandemic forced me to start walking through woodlands and along canals. Often I did so with a camera slung over my shoulder and walking has helped greatly to get my creative juices going. All I can say is that in a way I'm incredibly jealous of @QuintinLake walking journey.
Photographer @QuintinLake spent 5 years walking the 7000 mile perimeter of the UK, capturing the drama and beauty of the coastline. His expansive journey on foot invited him to consider himself in relation to place and time.

"At its heart, future-gifting invites you to get to know your future-self. It encourages you to see the world through their eyes. You might even begin to see them as a friend that you’d like to help." @Rubbersoul via @wearetakingtime https://t.co/r9mUofSpcZ

It introduces the concept of 'future gifting' – a way to engage with your future in a more generous way.
