Our current Thrift+ Status is π‘ - our donors are currently experiencing longer than normal wait times for their ThriftBags to be processed. https://t.co/JV0Qf7mk8i
@Nicole_Wellman Hi Nicole, we are now accepting donations into the warehouse - sorry for the confusion here! We look forward to receiving your donations :)
@timbo995@SaraDaviesCC@joe_thrift@TejLalvani Hey Tim. Without breaking the illusion too much, but there was a bit of clever editing there.. We can assure you that Joe was very respectful in his negotiations!!
@TappendenSue@SaraDaviesCC Hey Sue. That sounds absolutely awesome. Exactly what we love to see. We do need to charge a fee so that we can pay for our warehouse and staff - hopefully it means we can grow and grow to make an even bigger impact ...
@BuytaskerCEO @SaraDaviesCC@joe_thrift Hi Mick, Thanks so much for the kind words & enthusiasm. Definitely some teething issues with the 10s of ks of visitors, but all sorted. They cut the bit where Joe said '33% back to the you' as Thrift+ credit or John Lewis vouchers..
@NEFamilyFun@genuineplacebo@mrsfrancioli That's exactly it Sam. **Any** charity can now raise funds from their supporters second-hand clothes π€ I hope we can really help your local farm.
@bjmason91 Hey Benjamin, sorry for the slow reply. I think you mean for shopping on our site? Yes we charge Β£3.95 for delivery. And there is no minimum order amount. Hope that helps!
@SincereMoments @SaraDaviesCC@joe_thrift Hello Carole! Fair comment! We will be picking up our Twitter game from here on in. Please do follow us on instagram if you are over there too @we_are_thrift
@LNewman63578495@SaraDaviesCC@joe_thrift Hey thank you so much for your patience with the website on Sunday night. 80k visitors is more traffic than we normally get over the course of 12 minutes!! Happy to say everything is back up and running :)
@Heleni08 Unfortunately not all items sell before they reach our Β£5 minimum. This is under constant review though so we are very open to hearing your thoughts about how we might be able to approach things differently, while making sure we can cover costs. Thanks!
@Heleni08 Hey Helen! We completely agree - we don't accept / upload any items for Β£5 or less because we want to make sure that charities benefit from every sale. These items that you see for Β£5 will have been slowly discounted to help them sell.
