Yeah, it was mainly Nmap with the -sV flag for version detection and banner grabbing. The room stays pretty basic, no Nessus or OpenVAS. Basic techniques for identifying vulnerabilities.. map the attack surface, enumerate services, pull version info, cross-reference with public databases, and a final section on triaging findings by impact.

I actually came across my one of these last week while decluttering and decided to put it in the storage unit pile. No idea why, I've never used it, never been asked for it, and the last thing it contained was my GCSE results. I didnt even bother collecting my A-Level certificates let alone putting them in there. Maybe one day I'll regret that, not having my permanent record, but I can't imagine why.
