STe running Xenon - you can see some of the graphics mapping is missing sections, so could be bad data on the disk or possibly a memory issue on the machine, but it's running and gives me something to work with and it has actually been a while since I've had an ST running . .
The Bitmap Brothers, founded in 1987 by Mike Montgomery, Eric Matthews, and Steve Kelly in London's Wapping.
They had their own distinctive style, known for excellent pixel art, great soundtracks, and tough gameplay. Their first two games were Xenon (1988) and Speedball (1988). Later titles became absolute icons of gaming history like...
Xenon 2: Megablast (1989)
Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe (1990)
Gods (1991)
The Chaos Engine (1993)
Z (1996)
.all earning critical acclaim.
If you had to pick just one game that best defined their style and represented their legacy, which would it be?
Marko (Atarimania) will only mock me for not having an Atari Falcon. But a virtual one is just as good. Erm, no, so let's quickly move on!! This is Capy for the 32-bit beast. Brilliant puzzler this!!! https://t.co/ggUNboeAKs
One day, someone kind will donate their Falcon... 🙃
Turbo Cup is still one of my favourite racers for the Atari ST. Tough, but fair for those willing to master its learning curve!

One the classic 8-bit games by Vortex for the #zxspectrum and I was thrilled to see the #AtariST version. Still terrible playing it, but I absolutely love it!! https://t.co/QMnnd6TCOe
Magic Boy for Atari ST (and Atari STe).
What a platformer this is, so much fun to play, and it looks/sounds great to boot. A cracking game this!
I can't be bothered pasting the link, just check my profile page. I'm in an awkward mood 🤣
Here is a little bit from #Rogul#AtariSTe
A demo teaser of what's to come... This game is superb. Yep, I'm loving it :) Anyhow, here's the link https://t.co/WDGNunvIpW
Strider is an #AtariST game I loathed bitd, but these days I'm somehow a mega fan! Love it... How did that happen? Better click here then 👉🏻 https://t.co/aR3Az7sAfR
Just like the guys at exQUIZitely, i too am a big fan of this shooter -- SWIV for Atari ST/e is a belter.
Tidbit: this is the game that broke my ST's 24-year-old hard drive. Probably due to how it loads/plays? Well, 24 years was pretty good VFM! Can't complain... ha
If you're gonna load up a shoot 'em up this weekend, make it SWIV
