A candidate for Clearwater City Council asserts that the city is dominated by the Church of Scientology. He says that can change if he's elected to public office next year. https://t.co/Wmqd4K3rsK

#Scientology accuses major Australian newspapers of "fake news"; appears headed for a parliamentary inquiry which would be GREAT news.

@a_idealist @PersepPrincess The whole point is that the High Court made a mistake in ruling like it did. Yes, their ruling is the law of the land, but rules can be changed to suit reality. There is a large movement to overturn that ruling due to egregious behavior on the part of @Scientology.
@KiwiManaNui2017@benschneiders@TonyOrtega94 Your claim makes no sense. Tony Ortega was the editor of a newspaper, the Village Voice. https://t.co/TGLGOo2vD2 was a website. Ortega had nothing at all to do with that website, @Scientology retells the same lie about this over and over but to no avail.
@benschneiders Ben, expect a hate website to pop up out of nowhere thanks to @Scientology. I'm very sorry to say, if you have any pets please don't let them outside for a while. This group is that depraved. There are no limits to what can be done to their perceived "enemies".
@EPStandLeague @benschneiders That's not true, Ed. Nobody in Australia has been assaulted by Ben Schneiders, whose excellent article is well worth reading. Informative and truthful.
In a thorough thrashing, the Australian federal court dismissed a case of defamation brought against journalist Steve Cannane and his book about #Scientology in Australia, 'Fair Game.' We have a statement from Steve and the full 273-page (!) ruling.
