It's just 2 weeks until #reClojure 2025, a community-drive #clojure conference that is being held on May 26th in London, UK. There will be talks on Rama, Datomic, LLMs, Brain-Computer interfaces, and more. There's still time to pick up tickets and attend: https://t.co/RL44C6nzJ4
@nikitonsky@reClojure Ah yes, apologies for that. We've yet to get the final speaker confirmed. We've had one drop out, and we're now going down the scored list of proposals until we find a candidate who accepts. So we can't reject any proposals quite yet, as they may end up being the replacement.
For those still on Twitter, @reClojure 2025 is an in-person #clojure#conference in the UK that will take place on May 26th in London. Tickets are now on sale at: https://t.co/RL44C6o7yC
@virginmedia It's fixed now. It usually is within 24 hours (though my area suffered a 6 week outage a few years ago). The problem is the frequency of outages. If there is a loss of service 1 day a week, it's not usable for remote working.
@virginmedia It's a service outage. It's nothing to do with my equipment or line, since your service page registers it as a loss of service in my area, and my neighbours are also affected. Same as the last 15 times.
@virginmedia Your website says your services are "ultra-reliable". Do you have any statistics on what that actually means? Currently with Virgin, but reliability is too poor for remote work without a backup 4G connection.
@virginmedia Do you have any advice for choosing backup Internet services? I'm currently using Three mobile broadband for the days of the month when Virgin broadband is down. Curious if there are any official recommendations for ppl who want > 90% uptime.
@virginmedia You make big deal of your service's speed, but have you considered touting its reliability as well? Virgin broadband runs perfectly 6 days of the week, 23 hours a day.
Incidentally I've also found that Atomist has been a real time saver in enforcing my admittedly rather picky preferences about commit messages: https://t.co/hsE8T2UAo8
@joemasilotti There's a small mistake in your guide - you don't need to purchase the DLC to play games on TTS. There are thousands of workshop games available for free.
