At first glance, this phase-one trade deal can correctly be considered a "game-changer" as far as a negotiated agreement with China. There is still every reason to remain skeptical on China following through, based on its track record, but the agreement itself is big! #oatt
US China Phase 1 details:
*China to pledge to buy $80 billion in manufactured goods over 2 years including Boeing planes
*$50 billion in energy
*$32 billion in ag additional goods
*$35 billion in services

@ChuckGrassley Dec. 2018....
"I know it’s hard to believe, but I’ve never heard a single young or beginning farmer tell me that the way to help them is to give more money to the largest farmers."
Sen. Grassley voted against YOUR Farm Bill!!!!!

When the candidates at the #DemDebate say their policies will help Iowa, remember they want to repeal @realDonaldTrump’s tax reform, which cut taxes for Iowans, to pay for things like socialized medicine.
A wonderful reunion with a fellow naval officer, an expansive diplomat, a visionary senator, and a promoter of a progressive society for all... in Dike, Iowa. Thank you, Secretary @JohnKerry for being yourself amongst the like-minded people of rural #IASen

"Siouxland Energy Cooperative, a producer owned company located in northwest Iowa, says it will idle production at its ethanol production facility in Sioux Center."

While they pander for Iowa votes at the #DemDebate tonight, remember all the candidates on stage who support eliminating the Electoral College, which would silence Iowa voices and shift power to coastal states like New York and California.
After the Democrats delayed for over a year on #USMCA, we need to move quickly to get this done for our farmers, workers, and businesses.

Not ONE of them voted to confirm Scott Pruitt or Andrew Wheeler at EPA. YOU DID!
And those votes help TRIPLE the number of #RFS waivers the EPA administered, to the detriment of ethanol demand.
YOU helped close (https://t.co/YaVg16JhNM) ethanol plants.
Shame on you.
All the candidates in the #DemDebate in Des Moines tomorrow will tell us how much they support farmers as they pander for votes. But remember they all support the Green New Deal, which would devastate our ag economy and our Iowa way of life.
Dear @realDonaldTrump: I served on active duty in the United States military. We are not mercenaries. We are not bargaining chips. We don’t deploy for money.
Our troops exist to protect the Constitution and the national security of the United States. Get it?

This map gives you a rough sense of all the ways U.S. land is used. Much of U.S. land serves specific purposes, such as the 2 million acres devoted to golf courses or the 3 million acres for airports.https://t.co/WkDPqg3rwv
To my friends in Davenport & Muscatine, yes, I'm still fully endorsing John Delaney as the "Real Deal" Democrat in the race for president. Please go meet & listen to him today. And for a good backgrounder, watch this 28-minute video: https://t.co/po1f4xhgwN.
So, if the signing of the Phase 1 deal is so close, why no details yet? One possibility is that the terms really will move stock and commodity markets around the globe. This could explain the very tight lid on the details of the agreement. Something to think about.
This quote from DNC: "The DNC has been more than inclusive throughout this entire process" is absolutely not true. The RNC was more inclusive in 2016 w/ 2 debate stages. 2 debate stages allow top polling candidates to go head-to-head while being inclusive. https://t.co/0t3w4U99Qz
