Here’s My Story 🫡
It started like any other day I was using my system and needed to send some SOL. I copied the receiver’s wallet address, pasted it, and sent the funds.
Hours later, the person messaged me: “I haven’t received the payment.”
When I checked the block explorer, my heart sank the SOL went to a completely different address. After digging around, I discovered that my system had been hit by clipboard malware it silently replaced copied wallet addresses with a hacker’s.
That mistake led me to search for a safer way to transact on Solana. That’s when I discovered Solana Name Service (SNS). If I’d had a .sol domain back then, all I’d have needed to do was type the name no copying, no pasting, no malware tricks.
Since then, my .sol has made sending and receiving crypto so much easier and safer. What started as a frustrating experience turned into one of my best discoveries.
