Ethiopia: At least 47 Ethiopian Christians were killed, and another 18 hospitalized, in coordinated attacks targeting them in the Oromia region.
Surviving witnesses claimed regional authorities collaborated with Islamist militias to carry out the massacre.
Church leaders have repeatedly warned local authorities about armed groups entering the area, but received no serious response.
This is not an isolated incident, but rather part of a pattern of targeted attacks against Ethiopian Christians, who militants conflate with Amhara ethnicity.
This fusion of religious and ethnic violence against innocent Christians and their churches must not be tolerated.
We condemn these evil acts and call for the protection of Ethiopia’s Christians.

💔✝️ COPTIC CHRISTIANS IN EGYPT: YEARS OF WAITING FOR A CHURCH TO CALL THEIR OWN
In Hadayek October, a rapidly expanding district west of Cairo, Coptic Christian families continue to wait for something that should be a fundamental right: a place to worship God in their own community.
A plot of land was reportedly designated for a church, yet years have passed without construction beginning.
Every week, families are forced to endure long and expensive journeys just to attend Holy Mass. Parents, children, and elderly believers must travel far simply to practice their faith.
How long must Christian families wait for a church?
How can something as fundamental as a place of worship require years of waiting, repeated appeals, and unanswered requests?
Coptic Christians are not strangers in Egypt. They are Egyptian citizens who deserve equal rights, equal dignity, and the same freedom to worship as every other citizen.
⚖️ Religious freedom means more than words on paper. It means the freedom to worship without unnecessary barriers, discrimination, or endless delays.
A church should never be a privilege granted after years of pleading. It is a place where families gather, children grow in faith, and communities find strength.
🙏 Please pray for our Coptic brothers and sisters in Hadayek October. May their voices finally be heard, their requests answered, and the doors of their church soon open.
📢 Share to raise awareness. Their faith deserves a place to call home.

Today, eight years ago, we remember seven Coptic pilgrims martyred on the road home from St Samuel Monastery. It was the second massacre on that road. Islamists opened fire on 2 November 2018. This is what the Christians of Egypt have endured for 1400 years. Lord have mercy.

According to local sources, the attacks involved extremist groups allegedly operating with the coordinated support of local officials and elements of the ruling Prosperity Party regime. Ugandan Troops Begin Withdrawal from Key Military Bases in Somalia’s Lower Shabelle Region
Ugandan troops have reportedly begun withdrawing from forward operating bases (FOBs) in Barawe and Shalanbood, in Somalia’s Lower Shabelle region, as part of a broader military withdrawal.
According to security sources cited by baidoa online , the withdrawing forces are expected to regroup at Number 60 in Lower Shabelle by November 13, before proceeding to Mogadishu and eventually returning to Uganda.
Meanwhile, some Ugandan military convoys have already been spotted moving through the streets of Mogadishu, indicating that troop movements are underway.
The withdrawal raises questions about future security arrangements in Lower Shabelle, particularly in areas facing persistent threats from Al-Shabaab militants.
