@neiltyson @elonmusk FUN FACT: The Nissan Leaf was was introduced in Japan and the United States in December 2010 and has sold 577,000 of this single model at an average price of $22,271. They also did so without $465 million in loans from the United States Department of Energy.

They're finally writing about America's largest landholder, oligarch John Malone and his plans for more monopolistic media acquisitions and consolidation for control now that nothing stands in his way.

@MotherJones John Roberts also paved the way for GW Bush by helping to steal his election.

Along with his cohorts now sitting on the Court.

[Mother Jones @MotherJones]

Under John Roberts, American democracy felt humiliating, looked like a joke, and became increasingly tenuous.

He basically paved the way for Donald Trump's rise to the presidency. https://t.co/bTQXECmNE2

@NewsWire_US AIPAC funding is the new chief source for fascist enabling.

[NewsWire @NewsWire_US]

Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-N.Y.) says Democrats “have to stop pandering to the far left”

He adds: “I don’t want to discriminate against anybody, but I don’t think biological boys should be playing in girls’ sports.”

[Robert Reich @RBReich]

Shocking, but not surprising. Musk put more than $130M of his own money into this election, and he'll expect to get his money's worth. I think he'll be calling a lot of the shots in the Musk-Trump administration.

[web rant @web_rant]

@kenklippenstein Yeah that must be the problem, telling people how they're being manipulated for minority control by concentrated capital through a strategy of intimidation.

That was never once addressed by the Harris campaign.

https://t.co/cIZSvMLr6G

[Ken Klippenstein @kenklippenstein]

Former Biden spokesperson Jen Psaki criticizes the Harris campaign's fascism emphasis.

"It is not a good closing message to reach to the masses of the country. People don't relate to it. It's not understandable. And I think that, I hope, is a lesson."

[Ana Kasparian @AnaKasparian]

She's right. Rather than directly addressing the needs of their own base, Democrats tried to seduce Never Trumpers instead. All 3 of them.

[Mehdi Hasan @mehdirhasan]

Wonder how the GOP establishment feel about some random ex Dem conspiracy theorist controlling their party now lol

[web rant @web_rant]

@sambrodey It's as though the concentrated capital taking control has unlimited money to spend to do it.

https://t.co/xkqspGfoNv

[Sam Brodey @sambrodey]

Rs will win the two Senate races they spent the most.

Staggering stats:

OH: Outside R groups spent $115M to defeat Brown and not even $700K in 2018

PA: R orgs spent $110M against Casey after spending $50K in '18

Ds spent hugely against GOP challengers too, but were outgunned

[Mehdi Hasan @mehdirhasan]

All of you folks who said Israel has a ‘right to defend itself,’ all of you people who said ‘But Hamas!’ in response to anything and everything, all of you who backed this stuff, this is on you, and the blood of these babies is on your hands. History will not forgive or forget.

[web rant @web_rant]

@adamjohnsonCHI To say nothing of Fetterman's faux-gressivism that AIPAC funded into fascism.

But as a lifetime enabler, Chuck Toddler is RIGHT there for his ascent.

https://t.co/TLq7WhVbIP

[Adam Johnson @adamjohnsonCHI]

“Working class democrat?” “Brethren where he’s from”? Fetterman is from a wealthy suburb, his parents were Republicans, he was a legacy admission to Albright College then went to Harvard. He’s not working class, he just dresses like shit! this is not the same thing

[web rant @web_rant]

@OsitaNwanevu A reminder that David Plouffe never worked for Biden's campaign like he did for Harris's when he joined in August and then came the Cheneys, crypto, and Mark Cuban along with ignoring Gaza.

[Osita Nwanevu @OsitaNwanevu]

In the interest of calling out nonsense before it becomes conventional wisdom: Joe Biden in 2020 was maybe the only Democratic candidate in recent memory who ran their general election well further to the left of their initial positioning in the primaries. https://t.co/RuFjZu7p4c

They're all sucking up to Dear Leader because they see the opportunity for even more capital consolidation now.

No more Lina Khans to get in the way as the centi-billionaires become trillionaires.

The explosion of California's #MountainFire as seen on satellite. It already covers over 1,000 acres and wind gusts between 45-70 mph continue to fan the flames

No a good situation

[CHP Moorpark @CHPMoorpark]

⚠️UPDATE⚠️The fire has jumped SR-118 west of Somis and there are now MANDATORY evacuations south of SR-118. Check https://t.co/oGZ5GvEU1I for up to the minute details on the #MountainFire.

[Colin McCarthy @US_Stormwatch]

An extremely dangerous and life-threatening situation is unfolding with the #MountainFire tearing through the Camarillo Heights neighborhood in Ventura County, California.

Wind gusts of up to 75 mph are pushing the fire so rapidly that firefighters are unable to protect homes.

Based on proposals made during Trump's first term in office, here are just some of the things working class Americans can expect from the second Trump administration:

Truly do not understand how many liberals cannot put together that normalizing conservative views, believe it or not…strengthens conservatives!

[Sunrise Movement 🌅 @sunrisemvmt]

We will stop Trump’s dangerous attacks. We will shift what’s politically possible. And we will transform the Democratic Party into a fighting force that can defeat Trumpism and win a Green New Deal.

Join us tonight to talk about our plan for how to do it: https://t.co/OmZxmUVrsJ
