“Hi, my name is Peter Parker, and you don’t remember me, but I have something to tell you that’s going to sound crazy. But it’s the truth, and I know you’re going to believe me, because you’re very good at telling when I’m lying...”
“I am Spider-Man!”
“Horizon High? No, I went to Midtown School of Science and Technology.”
Peter would be amazed that even in their personal lives things are different.
“So looks like there are differences between us.”
"You stole his shield? Man, I'm starting to think if you're the cooler Spidey around here."
A small sigh, as he took a deep breath.
"Alright, my turn to share. This is moreso of personal life outside of the heroics but have you attended an STEM school called Horizon High?"
He’d stand back up and nod, agreeing to leave before Happy comes by. He’d then have a puzzled look as he thought about the question his counterpart asked.
“Well…hmm..I guess it is our apartment.”
"I hope so. . .we should probably get going. Happy likes to visit her grave too around this time."
He said, standing up and looking at the graves once more, then to his counterpart again.
"We can go to my apartment. . .or is it our apartment?"
He’d look over to the other Peter and he’d just smile and nod trying to hold some tears back.
“Yea…I think they’d be proud of who we became and all the good we’ve done to help others…”
". . .I think Tony would have liked them too."
He said, crouching down next to his counterpart as he was silent for a moment before he spoke.
"Think they would be proud of us? May, Ben, and Tony?" He asked, looking over at his counterpart.
“Yea! Mr Stark gave me a whole new suit with a bunch of tech in it and I got to fight so many heroes there! Oh not to mention I stole Captain Americas shield.”
“They really would have enjoyed being around them…”
Peter said, as he looked over to the two graves. He went over and crouched beside Mays placing a hand on top of the stone, leaning his head down closing his eyes.
"Exactly! They were like older brothers we never had."
He said, then he looked behind him at the two graves of Aunt May and Uncle Ben.
"Aunt May and Uncle Ben would have definitely liked them. . ."
“Ditto, those two were really fun to be around…it was like they were my older brothers who understood me.”
Remembering the time Peter teamed up with his older counterparts had him smiling a little. He truly did miss them and wish they were here to help him again.
"The only multiverse thing I'd be up for would be seeing Peter-two and Peter-three again."
He said with a chuckle as he missed his older counterparts. He could sure use their advice and guidance.
Peter looked up from his thoughts and let out a light chuckle nodding slightly.
“Yea no kidding, I don’t think I’m ready for another multiversal crisis again..”
"There has to be a Spider-Person out there with telepathy. . ." He murmured under his breath, folding his arms over his chest.
"More multiversal stuff. . .can't say I'm excited about that. . .think we both have had out fill of the multiverse."
“I don’t think this is time travel…this might be some multiverse stuff and no I don’t have telepathy…”
Peter put his hand to his chin as he closed his eyes for a moment trying to recount how he got here in the first place.
"A reason. . .mind sharing? Don't think telepathy is part of our powers. . .unless it's part of yours. Is it?"
Yeah, this was definitely Peter, you can't replicate that wit and good quips anywhere.
"Unless. . .you're from further back or ahead in time. . ."
“Yea, I’m not like them..I think I’m actually you.”
Peter said, putting his hands down as he came face to face with the other Peter.
“I..I don’t know how I got here if I’m being honest, but I think it was for a reason…”
"How the fu. . ?"
Peter said, looking around for any sign of a magic portal before looking back at his variant lookalike.
"You. . .look exactly like me. Not like Peter-two or Peter-three. . ."
As Peter locked eyes with his other self, his Spider-Sense also went off in the familiar way. He slowly started to approach his variant with his hands slightly up showing he’s not a threat of any kind.
“Hi…don’t web me or anything I come in peace…”
As Peter stood up, his Spider-Sense tangled, not in a manner that said 'danger', no, it was. . .familiar.
He began looking around, until his eyes locked on to the other variant of himself, his face twisting in confusion.
