I managed to get more experience and learn new things in a new role without ever leaving the company I was in, I highly recommend this if you already like your current company and colleagues
I feel like us British struggle more than most with the job interview question "can you tell me a little about yourself?"

I often do 5 things when researching a new career path
1) Search on @DuckDuckGo
2) Ask AI
3) Search the job title and add "Reddit" to my search
4) Search "Day in the Life" videos on YouTube
5) Speak to real people with that job
