@mrjamesob It’s not just price rises, but product shrinkages. Look at this box of mostly air, I just bought.
Price per Twister: idk; sameish
Twisters per Box: Same
Box size: Same
Twister Size: idk; 1/2
Price per G: idk; x4?
@Dan4Barnet Tess: “Can the treasury find more money for Jnr Drs?”
Hunt (Ex HS that saw 2016 BMA): “lol; nope”
Tess: “K…”
Tess on her fb page: 🤷 well, I tried.
@TheEnglishRebel@greenbenali@TheGreenParty They keep on saying that. But say you’re making £1m/year profit & have huge investments (not just £, but time/love - it’s your baby in many ways) into your buisness- are you going to give that up if it means you drop to £900k ? That’ll be a 10% drop, more than proposed.
Don’t forget UBI - how much does ATOS make doing these accessment? With security from G4S. All that budget that is supposed to help out your average-Joe, the disabled, etc - is going directly into the hands of shareholders. The keflaesque system needs complete overhaul.
How will you pay for it?!
Well:
💷 Wealth tax
💷 Carbon tax on polluters
💷 Land value tax
💷 Crack down on tax evasion
💷 Raise corporation tax
💷 Scrap Trident
💷 Reform inheritance & capital gains tax
@TheGreenParty plans would raise billions for better public services 💚
@IsabelOakeshott I’m seething with rage, I look at this with my hands shaking. I’m agasp at what has come. Death & pestilence to all concerned. May Luthisa launch a battalion into the stage.
So we’ll have ANOTHER 8-12 years of austerity on the previous 14. That’s my whole adulthood of almost identical economic models that enrich the rich and deamonise the poor. Is there any mechanism to force a no-win? spoilt ballets?@CountBinface? 🇫🇷-riot?Idk…GE24 is out🍳into 🔥
Britain’s public services aren’t the only thing broken by 13 yrs of Tory misrule, our spirits are too. Those I speak to in politics are shattered.
It’s not just about remembering who did this at the general election, it’s about doing the thing that will guarantee their removal. Tactical voting.
To say that pointing out a simple political reality doesn’t make me popular in some factions, is an understatement, but we don’t have the power to change First Past the Post prior to the next Election.
I came to terms with the limited choices presented to us a while ago, others are still kicking and screaming and resisting. It doesn’t change the reality, I’m cold and pragmatic about this, that it’s a two horse race and you have to pick one. I have one focus, removing the most dangerous, corrupt and criminal National Front Conservative government that Britain has ever known. Everything else is secondary.
I don’t care how we do it but we have to do it. Splitting the vote won’t do it, nor will bitching at those pointing out the limitations of political systems instead of focusing on a Tory government removing vital suicide prevention services, starving kids and failing to jail rapists? Slow clap.
I don’t like it the fact that not all votes are equal, that we have a voting system which is outdated and benefits shithouses, any more than the next person. However to see intelligent people with "fuck the Tories" in their bio, abuse and sneer then state that they’ll do the very thing that will help the conservatives, despite knowing the limitations of FPTP? Enraging.
People don’t have to like my opinions or my output, it’s fine if you don’t, but to claim I’m being paid and engage in ludicrous conspiracies, or obsessively target the opposition rather than focus your attention on those in power? It’s an idiotic waste of time. It’s simply masking a refusal to accept the political reality. Your vote should count, it doesn’t, and those fault is that? The messenger, or the ruling classes with all the fucking power?
In case you hadn’t noticed, the last three years have proven that there’s only an appetite for "revolution" in those conned by crackpot conspiracy or sold a dream by disaster capitalist shills, and even then, only temporarily.
We cannot modify the shitty systems that we are burdened with prior to the next general election, we can only use them to our advantage by disadvantaging those that rely upon them.
Tactical voting is how we do that.
https://t.co/TxcKqVzbAI will tell you how to get a Tory the fuck out of parliament.
@Y00C4RNT @AdamBienkov I can’t believe this country has forgot T&T, like, serious £37,000m compared to 🇩🇪 £200m. 🇬🇧 T&T was undoubtedly the biggest fraud on the history of the planet.
Who signed that cheque? Why was it under-estimated by £17b ? How did they hit that figure?
@jemmaforte @TheTrawlPodcast@MarinaPurkiss My fave Sunday morning lately, is to listen to this whilst walking Nuks (🐶). It’s a bit weird tho when I suddenly lol in the street whilst walking past my neighbours… ‘spesh if they don’t realise I’ve got earphones in.
@TerenceKnott1@acgrayling@RishiSunak Can we just juxtapose this with the constant calls for those on Universal Credit to be sanctioned for the -slightest- accounting issue, such as being over paid by following everything they’ve been told (to the letter) ?
Honestly, I admire France so much when they riot atm.
@DrRogerGewolb@bankofengland I just don’t get why, in general, can’t reduce profits? Why are their % of profits increasing at all during Pandemic and COL, when it’s obviously not going on staff or suppliers; nor substantial increase in services provided? Especially Big Retail, and Energy.
@Neil_Wilby@carolvorders@paulmotty They need to be closed down, they shouldn’t have ever existed. The kids go on to get great paying jobs because of WHO they know, not WHAT they know. This feeds back down over generations, and frankly, governments. Do the parents even have kids out of love?Even that is up of debate
@ChrisPrice66@MarinaPurkiss@GBNEWS@DailyMailUK@TelePolitics@TheSun It’s like they’ve given up on the pretence… no idea if this is a good thing or not. Still, they’re seemingly counting down the days until they’re last year’s chip-wrapping…not that they’ve ever eaten chips wrapped up in newspapers - unless it comes from the Michaline guide.
Not going into @AsdaServiceTeam again. They have almost as much security staff than till/checkout workers. Prices akin to 2018 Waitrose. I know this tweet will be filled under B for 🗑️, but I really hope we get some 🇫🇷 spirit; some of @MartinSLewis’s “Civil Disobedience” soon.
I really don’t get why his wife’s fortunes, and potential for inheritance, is not considered related to him. It’s not like when she’s chilling out in the pool-room or home cinema, he has to sit in the kitchen. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t split it 50/50 in Tennessee Fried Chicken.
Imagine being that rich…
And still choosing to abuse your position, break the rules and funnel taxpayers’ money to your wife’s company because of your insatiable greed.
That soulless prick should be nowhere near our politics.
