Are there any use cases for 3d web development that you're surprised that you haven't seen more of?

Moonlight is bouncing off the sidewalk and the sun’s rest is coming to an end, but a workaround for a problem I’ve been struggling with all day with the fs module just popped into my head out of nowhere 😭 Tears of joy!! And tomorrow I begin class 41! #100devs #catchupcrew

Don’t get me wrong, knowing the old ways of doing things can help understand what’s going on under the hood and makes navigating legacy codebases possible, but often it can be motivating and practical to learn the easiest way to do something and just do it.

Hot take that I’d love to get some pushback on: you don’t have to learn the old, more difficult ways of doing things before learning the newer, simpler ways. eg it’s ok to learn async/await before being comfortable navigating callback hell!

@jaden_web_dev Taking a break and going outside! A 30 minute bike ride will almost always solve any coding problem I’ve run into and make me feel a lot better.

I see a lot of tweets saying “I have too many ideas and not enough time to make them!” and “I want to be coding all day but I’m out of ideas!” Being a better developer means there are more things you can make, but does being a better developer = being a better idea generator?
