Why did the press act as cheerleaders & mass behavioral guides rather than investigators or principled skeptics - their traditional roles - during COVID?
How was this transformation effected?
I'm tired of hearing only abt Fauci etc.
I want to know abt the media orchestration.
There were a number of moments of sheer folly, depravity and unmitigated excess among our elite leadership class that encapsulate the policy-driven human catastrophe what will someday be known as The Great Covid Panic.
Many come to mind—the French Laundry dinner, the dancing nurse TikTok videos, Nancy Pelosi’s visit to her hairdresser, the bulldozers filling Venice skate parks with sand, Bill Blasio and his wife waltzing alone like privileged royalty in a deserted Time Square.
But of all of them, the one I will always remember as the most disgusting, the most execrable, the most gag-inducing exhibition of pure hubris was Fauci, his wife and his buddy seated closely together, grinning, masks pulled down to their chins in the stands of the empty Nationals Park to take in a private Yankees game.
The very architect of so much fathomless misery, millions of unnecessary deaths and injuries, the obliteration of thousands of family businesses, the enrichment of Big Pharma villains, the willful destroyer of the reputations and careers of hundreds of conscientious scientists who had the inexcusable temerity to question HIS self-serving science, seated like a entitled little gnome-prince to watch his favorite team play a game, free of having to tolerate the presence of the thousands of vulgar peasants he clearly loathes.
As much as the elite media and politicians and pundits urge us to put those days behind us, bleating that “mistakes were made,” I will never forget this sorry chapter in human history that I was unfortunate enough to live through.
Never forget.
RE: George W. Bush
One of my great regrets in life is the way I defended George W. Bush in the early 2000s. This cost me friends and exposed me to relentless personal attacks. I defended his CHARACTER. I thought what I was doing was right. I was wrong.
I did not believe—and still do not believe—that he “lied” us into the war in Iraq. My belief was and is based on my knowledge of classified pre-war intelligence and my service early in the war on the Iraqi base that was most suspected to include WMD storage.
I defended Bush against “Bush lied, people died.” I defended Bush against “Chimpy McBushitler” and all of the other spurious Democrat insults that served only to undermine the war effort I had been fighting.
But while I defended Bush, he NEVER defended himself.
Then, when a true Marxist was elected President in the form of the worst human being to occupy the Oval Office since Woodrow Wilson (i.e., Barack Obama), Bush was SILENT. He never, ever spoke out against Obama, and even cozied up to him and Michelle, which I assumed was part of the tradition of former Presidents never criticizing their successors. (I was wrong in my assumption.)
THEN Donald Trump was elected President by America and suddenly Bush found his voice in criticizing serving Presidents. Why would he do this to a member of his own party other than because Trump was an outsider determined to dismantle the tyranny of the federal administrative state?
I now know that George W. Bush is a Deep State charlatan of extremely low character. Allegiance to the Deep State and The Swamp trumps any allegiance he may have ever had to his own party, the United States of America, the Constitution, or the American people.
He is despicable.
Surprisingly, I now find him more objectionable than the other Presidents in this picture. At least they let us know who they actually were.

Bucket-List Project update: I’m closing on the completion of episode 7 of 9 in my limited spec TV series adaptation. Then just 2 more eps to go.
It’s been an amazing, strange journey. But the work is good. There’s horror and humor and violence and tenderness, great sadness and joy and beauty, monsters and demons and angels. Sacrifice, courage, justice . The characters have led me to some very dark places, yet the story is fused with hope for redemption.
To be wiser. To be better. To know the possibilities are infinite for good and evil.
I have taken an immense risk in writing this entire series on spec without a deal in place.
The scope is epic and it will require an immense budget. But even if there is no network crazy or bold enough to produce it, there will be the graphic novel(s), so it will be realized in one form or another.
All things considered, I couldn’t have written it to these standards any other way. No compromises. No studio or network “input.”
Failure or success. It’s all mine. And I can live with either.
I’m betting he wrote and rehearsed Dolan’s Herb Brooks speech for him. It’ll be featured prominently in this doc. Anyone who’s heard Dolan in an unrehearsed setting knows he’s a stammering, inarticulate boob.
A multi-part Knicks documentary is in the works at A24 & HBO.
The series will follow the Knicks' entire history up to their first NBA championship in 53 years.
Directed by Ben Stiller.
There is no redemption possible for the journalists and outlets who pushed the deadly COVID lies and now ignore it all. They set a benchmark for cravenness which will live forever. And they're still at it.
Next time some asshole uses the protection of children to promote their latest mass-surveillance and censorship scheme in Congress, I promise to send my first campaign contribution ever to the politician who replies, “Oh yeah, we haven’t heard THAT one before! Blow it out your ass, you scumbag!”
Actually feel sorry for Patrick Ewing appearing on screen saying WE got the title now. Pat, u r now a fan not a player, u never won a 🏆. Hakeem dunked on u on the biggest stage in game 7. Sad. Step off 33. 🏀
