After the US denied his visa, there is massive pressure from the sponsors of the Sudanese war, MBS, Erdogan and Sisi, to let Al Burhan speak at the UN. It is clear now: those who make money out of that war have no interest in the war being finished. According to Reuters, Al Burhan was asked to sign a ceasefire in order to speak at the UN, but he refused. When his sponsors of war heard about that, they came together to beg Trump not to stop the war. They will not be able to sell weapons, of course, and will lose their pawn. What a disgrace. The US should not fall under pressure!

According to the latest information from New York, Al Burhan’s sponsors, Saudi Arabia especially, are putting pressure on the US government to give him the visa that was initially denied. Why would they do that? Al Burhan has used chemical weapons against his own people. Then he refused to let in independent investigators and buried the evidence. Should a man like that speak at the UN? No, he should be prosecuted by international courts. Saddam, Assad—both were bombed because of the use of chemical weapons. Why should Al Burhan be treated differently? Mr. Trump, your turn now!

According to Reuters, the U.S. is tying a ceasefire in Sudan to granting al-Burhan, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood-infiltrated Sudanese army, a visa to attend the U.N. session.

The U.N. is not happy and, as usual, has expressed concern. But the U.S. understands that al-Burhan and his Muslim Brotherhood-aligned army are the reason the war has not stopped.

The doctrine of this movement is war.

Even if they sign a ceasefire, it will be an opportunity to regroup and rearm, while regional players provide additional support, including Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.

It is true that both sides fighting in Sudan have committed serious crimes, but there is a difference between an ideological movement that has wreaked havoc across dozens of countries and a violent faction with no comparable ideological backbone.
