But now I found out I can import the Evernote notes to Apple Notes. I have just done so now, and thereby liberated my thousands of notes – and forever abandoned Evernote.

Now that Canva has announced their strategy to make the full Affinity suite free: I kinda like the initiative.

It's a direct blow to Adobe. And they deserve a sucker punch or two, after years of corporate greed and archaic software policies.

If both the Serif / Affinity and Pixelmator apps are sunset (killed by their new, corporate parent companies): image editing and graphic design on Mac will suffer greatly 😕

Apple bought Pixelmator.
Canva bought Serif / Affinity.

Now both app suites' futtures are up in the air.

Has happened before. F.e: I think it was Accusonus that Facebook/Meta acquired some years ago. Suddenly, all the great Accusonus apps were axed, website gone, and users couldn't even use the software we had PAID for.
