@Arsenal There are fans who hate Arteta through jealousy or stupidity but he’s created a team with a great systematic approach…It’s not a striker that’s missing but a couple of rogues…Players like Saka & Trossard who step outside his system & accept the responsibility of taking a risk!
@ad_sharps@RealDonKeith What are you talking about ?
Martin Luther King did it way before then…Kaepernick appropriated it which is why it resonated with the black community🤦🏿♂️
@ArsenalNews_Hub Watched this guy play his first few games against some very skillful wingers & wondered if he was good enough!?😳
Then saw him acclimatise to the team and…
What’s the words I’m looking for…
“made of the RIGHT STUFF…”
100% pure…Without compromise!
We definitely need Tonali for next season… he’s not as good as Rice defensively but far better in attack…Puts a lot more pressure on Skelly & Merino because that current role was made for Tonali’s box to box style…
Also if we want to avoid a tepid start to the PL…
We’ll need his fresh back from holiday legs!
We are champions of the toughest league in the world & over 90 mins undefeated in the UCL…
We didn’t do this by emulating anyone!😐
It’s not Pep’s continual possession but our critical possession… We full-court press, run up & down like basketball players to get into pre-defined defensive & attacking formations.
Transition & taking our opportunities is the key… This is where players like Bouaddi can be useful!
There are no time-outs in football.
We don’t WASTE time because we are ahead…
We TAKE time because it’s the only opportunity for a breather in between phases.
Our issues have improved but the problem is still the same… Our system is like basketball but it’s harder to score in football & we’re around 1 goal in 6 attempts, this needs to fall to around 1 in 4 for the system to be efficient & effective as well as easier on the eye.
Ever watched a basketball game when everyone’s missing their shots but remain defensively organised… Yep like watching Arsenal…
@Ifreke Arsenal aren’t defensive…But playing a basketball out of possession game without timeouts…hence the slow play
It’s not about Pep’s continual possession but critical possession…That’s where Arteta’s strategy is failing…The ceiling to take every opportunities is higher in Bball
@brfootball@LyesBouzidi10@Culturecams Arsenal are so far ahead of the curve that they’re being criticized by comparisons to old school football!
Arsenal are simply playing basketball style defence without the benefit of timeouts…Hence the slow play for throw ins & set pieces.
Some ex pros just need to keep up!
@Footysm Gen Z pseudo stats analysis…🥴
If we thought this way in the 90s
Man Utd wouldn’t only have to give back 4 PL titles… They would have been relegated…
@WeAreTheOverlap Give 2 people a spear & a shield…
One throws away the spear to use just their shield!(Dumb…)
But when the match still ends in a tie & the man with his lone shield is killed after they draw straws…
How can a pro find admiration in that victory!🤯
Its embarrassing…
@WeAreTheOverlap People give PSG too much credit…
They won & to the victors go the spoils…
But they won UCL on a coin toss with advantage of side & first kick! Certainly NOT on the merit of their attacking football which was absorbed & found wanting…
@PoojaMedia People continue to belittle Arteta’s achievements!!
It may be 7 years but it’s 7 years of progression too!😳
Could never understand ArtetaOut mob!
Arsenal are more likely to finish no lower than 2nd with the UCL trophy…
Arteta’s Arsenal is what’s called a bullish trend…
@talkSPORT AFTV is a banter channel…An opportunist guy exploited a few fans with mental, anger & tribalism issues…Found in all fan bases!
He platformed them to rage bait all fans!
Don’t hate these talkSport actors…Just a corporate show ripping off Robbie’s ideas with no commission!
@Sakaextra2 It’s not about the players individually anymore that’s old school thinking…Its the philosophy of this new regime that has to be embraced by the fans & any player that joins the squad!
Not as pleasing on the eye but one supremo up top & it could be a lasting legacy…
@Adeola_Notes@Pea26855103Easy@talkSPORT I dislike Arsenal time wasting…But no team in Europe work as hard together going forward & getting back into defensive shape…🤷🏿♂️
If you work as hard as a basketball team then have to create your own timeouts…PSG didn’t look so good in the same amount of playing time though…
@KingPoulou@user23631@talkSPORT A Stat reader…Try re-watching the game
They would have to be a luckier & far better attacking team than PSG to put more than 2 goals past Arsenal… Maybe FC Kairat
Just face it…Arsenal absorbed the best PSG could muster in OPEN PLAY & PSG undeniably won on a penalty coin toss
@talkSPORT Who has the largest social media probably Man U… I have no reason to check them out!
But I would wager that AFTV has the largest social media following of RIVAL FANS!!
AFTV is a banter channel…
How can rival fans dislike the hate watch value they themselves created!
@Pea26855103Easy@talkSPORT But PSG didn’t out score anyone…
And it’s arguable all they did…Was win two coin tosses for the penalties 😂
Vitinha was voted player of the match…He did no more than Odegaard in the PL passing in circles zero shots on target!
Gabriel won 100% of his duels doing his job!
@JamieTennant3@talkSPORT Or just loses the coin toss!😂
Arsenal didn’t play for penalties…They simply knew the odds of scoring against PSG was greater than PSG scoring against them!
Risk is for amateurs…Pros calculate odds
Arsenal were the better team but doesn’t change the fact PSG were the victors!
@Pea26855103Easy@talkSPORT Attack & defence is a strategy NOT a strength or weakness…
Defence takes a lot more effort than attack…
Attack requires more risk…
I’m not debating who won… 🤷🏿♂️
Just who was better!
If there were no penalties… Arsenal looked more likely to win!
That’s the point…
@user23631@talkSPORT UCL is NOT meant to be Big Brother
100% agree…Everyone prefers DRAMA because watching 2 teams messing up like Bayern & PSG is ENTERTAINING…But REAL Football is about intensity.
Def patterns way above Dyche…Some fans ball knowledge would be better served watching Bugs Bunny
