This is just not reasonable. When pupils are in school, they don’t have 4hrs of 1:1 tuition from a teacher. This needs to be better quantified to stop parents feeling the pressure.

Am definitely going to be contacting Ofsted tomorrow to let them know about my daughters' schools. They need to be aware of how hard every single member of staff is working, in almost impossible conditions.

Things I don’t understand:
Why is it imperative that our youngest children go back to school when Danish schools aka ‘the right way to do it’ don’t send their kids to school until 6?
If everyone’s heading out for a day trip this weekend, where on earth are they going for a wee?

@debbiehepp I just don’t think now is the time to shame teachers that are trying their best in such difficult circumstances. Remember that when you ‘shame’ individuals that they are a hard-working member of the teaching profession that are trying their best to continue to provide support.

Having walked into my local village to a) get some fresh air and b) try and source some milk🙄 my observation about social distancing and why it’s so hard: in a crisis, people’s natural reaction is to gather, chat, comfort, sympathise and share stories.
