@GoTimeFM Sad to hear the end of an era is upon us, I believe I've listend to every episode of the show. A big shoutout to everyone who has kept it running for this long and I'm excited to see what's next for https://t.co/6KTgD4zMnV!
Last week, I shared a post about a silly mistake I made as a consequence of not reading the docs.
This is how I tried to solve it:

Spoiler alert: I read the docs this time!

If only I would have read the docs! Check out my latest post about my experience with releasing a new major version of a go module, and the goofy mistake I made in doing so.

@mitchellh I think it’s party just the natural progression from gamer to coder. Most gamers use windows and a lot of gamers mess around with code or actually become engineers. For me for the longest time I didnt know better. Till i got a macbook at work. Life changed that day…
The only thing I think I have left to do is to refactor the tests a bit. I didn't really do much to them other then ensure they still pass. Potentially there are some more improvements to be made there.
The reason I initially picked this up because I wrote it quite some time ago and since then I have spent a lot of time diving deeper into Go, and I learned a lot.
Switched from VSC to Cursor (which is pretty effortless) to try it out for a day and I can definitely see myself paying for this.
Give it a try, thank me later.
