Claude went off-script and pulled election data, Elvis came for Anthropic, and Musk says the money is drying up for most AI clouds.

Blue Planet III leaves murky water, plankton and the odd boat in shot on purpose.
Producers say AI fakes push them to less polished, "organic" footage so viewers know it's real. The BBC: "No gen AI was used in this series. Not a single frame."
Imperfection is the new proof.
Cerebras showed how it serves a 3-trillion-parameter model.
Kimi K3 at 4-bit, spread across 59 wafers: two linear-attention layers per wafer, one dense layer per wafer. Weights never move. Only activations hop, about 2 microseconds each.
Claimed speed: 1,000 to 2,000+ tokens/s.
Thorsten Ball (Amp) on how he works with agents:
- Always use the latest model
- Prompt the what, not the how
- Don't iterate with the agent. Have it build tools to iterate
- Review only code with a high blast radius
That last one will start fights.

China's AI trade just hit a bear market.
The CSI 300 closed 20.2% below its June peak on Oct 22 as AI shares slumped on fears that growth and valuations were unsustainable. The CSI AI Index fell 3.3% that day.

Detectors can be wrong. If this one isn't, the case against AI was written by AI.
Does it matter who wrote the script if the argument holds?

My take: Sunday was about trust. Agents act without being asked, AI writes the code and the homework, and checking the output is now the real job.
Who should answer for it when an agent does something nobody asked for?

Generalists still aren't specialists.
Elon Musk: debt markets have "almost entirely shut off" money for companies without substantial revenue outside AI data centers.
SpaceX still closed $40B of GPU debt.
His call on the 200+ neoclouds: "guppy-level death."
Who survives?

Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
