@dudenamedzelda@M0NVMENT Do you mean in the ‘current day’ of the manga or just the backstory flashbacks? Bc agree for backstory, not sure I see it post mental breakdown.
@Coolio_Art I bugged a biologist about their research once and apparently there is a dedicated lower lip muscle in agamids and chameleons as standard, that’s how they get that sort of ‘lowered lip teeth exposed’ gape during threat displays. No idea about the top lip tho,
@Kurgarra444@TheAntiAzdarcho Signs point to maybe.
I think the face is pretty generic and the lighting is kinda standard feeling which is why I had that feeling

I keep seeing this factoid, anyone figure out if it’s actually true?
Like how do we quantify it, bc from a quick google most lizards (approx 7k species) and crocodilians (like 40) males are bigger than females, but most snakes (around 4k) and testudines (200) females are bigger.
Females are (usually) larger and stronger in reptiles and arachnids. They are (usually) smaller in mammals and birds.
So if dragons are reptiles, it's plausible that the females are bigger.
@3lfig Ooh I didn’t knew there were reverse dimorphic bettas, that’s neat.
It’s also neat when there’s more aggressive/dominant smaller females, such as leachies where females are smaller but known to kill males if they don’t like them.
@Petulant_Kragg Assuming about equal ammounts of food sleep and exercise, sexual dimorphism-related size differences would relate to social and reproductive strategies. Agree or disagree?
