Three years ago, my Dad died after suffering a stroke. He had to wait 17 hours for a thrombectomy as it was not available 24/7.

Today, @JohnSwinney invoked my Dad’s name to announce the Scottish Government’s commitment to 24/7 thrombectomy.

My Dad died from a stroke. He was failed by systemic gaps in Scotland’s NHS—most shockingly, the lack of 24/7 access to thrombectomy, a life-saving stroke treatment.

This front page must be a turning point.

Scotland needs 24/7 stroke surgery. No more delays.

This argument from the Stroke Association implies that they think people can remember FAST in a Stroke scenario, but not to BE FAST in a Stroke scenario.

Do they really think people in Scotland cannot remember an additional two letters? Do they think we're stupid?

Absolutely shocking. Very disappointing from a Charity that is meant to help saves lives from Stroke!
