I’ll tell you something for free.
At the highest level of football, there are certain things you cannot fluke.
Glasner won the Europa League with Frankfurt, this was a time big teams use to drop from UCL into Europa, so he had to face teams like Barcelona on the way. Still, he won the Europa.
He came to Palace, with a small budget compared to the other English teams, he won the FA Cup, the first trophy in Palace’s history, he beat Man City to win it. You can’t fluke that, he’s a winner.
He qualified them to Europa by winning the FA Cup , but they dropped to Conference league because of the multi-club ownership saga with Textor. Despite the setback, he has just won an European trophy for a South London club.
In 2 years, he has changed a club’s history and won 3 trophies for them if we add the community shield. He did this while losing big players, lost his captain January, lost his best player to Arsenal in summer, lost Olise.
This guy is a winner.
@cjthfc2 Villa went and got Morgan Rodger from the championship. They are all wrong it needs to be a mixture of experience and young prospects. The league you take people from is irrelevant if its the right player!!
@PolitlcsUK@Telegraph This will pay for itself. The amount of people i know who refused overtime because they wasn’t willing to pay 40% tax. Then people would start to do overtime and spending the extra money they earned, putting more back into the system.,
@FerryLad I think it would put him in a really good position if he won as it’s not exactly a safe seat. It is a huge risk to resign as mayor and try for a seat that only has a 5,000 majority!
@stephenmountfo5@ILoveSnooker_ He is proving a point to the governing body. If they won’t pay people their worth then why should they go above and beyond!
@pizzy_kay The man at the top of the pyramid has never built a team. He had the team of a generation and then took over the European champions. Then moved to city and had a world class team and a blank cheque book. Come back when he has built a team on a budget!
@ATTTMPod@knowlesy_23@_theleonkearney That what many people fail to realise. If you added consistency to many league two footballers they would play higher. It’s going back abit bit people used to say Jake Caprice can’t cross a ball. Correct if he could he would have been in League One/ Championship.
