If you’re wondering what the future could hold for Canada we should look at our geographical cousin, Russia.

The average Canadian’s voting power and economic purchasing power gets literally lower on average as each “low skill” or non wealthy migrant comes in. We are slowly killing ourselves with our own bandaid.

Ew ok, maybe 30% of the global workforce then. Still Canada is safe and 16CAD$ is wealth in more places then you would think if you were able to put some into savings.

Free housing + Minimum wage in Canada would probably appeal to 70+% of the global workforce if it was offered lol. That doesn’t mean we should do it. Less than 50,000 detached homes were built across the entire country this year but I guess that doesn’t include on site accommodation. Which Fr sounds nice

@Karliido @ericvideos91 No they are not??? Over 60% of tfws in Canada are getting paid minimum wage, with another 25% driving trucks. Greenhouse and agricultural work is not minimum wage labour in Canada and actually very non reliant on human capitol. Where do you get your information from?

I don’t even blame Him, he probably loves his wife. He should just run as a liberal imo - pre 2016 his social governance policy is def to the left of centre. I agree we should streamline the bureaucracy needed to start a business in Canada but that’s the best idea I’ve heard from him tbh and it’s a very simple one.

They need to develop their own countries. By taking people who can fill out an application form, and have prerequisite skills required for the west, we are literally draining these countries from the most competent sectors of their workforce.

Globally this sets us on a terrible pattern, where all of the abundance is concentrated and the rest of the world needs a babysitter, instead of equally capable nations of sovereign, independent people.

Mass migration does not help anybody except the capitalists who profit off of their labour and the politicians who appeal to them for votes.

Not all of them, the eu has open borders so if a migrant lands in Italy he has access to most of the eu, but even still some countries have enacted protective anti mass migration policies (Italy, Denmark, Japan, Switzerland, Greece, etc). We all know what ICE has been up to in the U.S, they’ve completely reformed their immigration policy since 2020. But most of the west is intertwined economically and culturally so it is def a shared issue to an extent.

That’s literally the number for new babies. Overall 33+ million of the population is “white”
