I make a point of setting my normal weekday 5am alarm on a Sunday and journaling about how much I love the 7 hours sleep that has got me to 5am Sunday morning
I remind myself every single Sunday morning that I used to ruin my life through cocaine and alcohol
#recoveryposse
Current Sunday morning - black coffee, stretching and journaling ✅
Old Sunday mornings - to throw empty bags of cocaine away, wipe surfaces for excess coke and * try * to sleep on the sofa for an hour before my family woke up
Now I’ll enjoy my day with them 😍

Sobriety is tough
The early days are hard
The cravings, the confusion, the feeling you'll never be normal again
But it gets easier. Life gets better. The peace. The clarity. The mornings without regret. The sleep!
YOU CAN DO IT.
So keep going - It's worth it.
@crazylifeovmine Well done on an amazing achievement 147!
Part of removing alcohol is we are forced to deal with our thoughts and feelings head on. Sometimes it reveals things we don’t want to deal with.
I told my partner that I’ll remove anybody that gets in the way of me and sobriety.
Sunday, 5am.
Black coffee, journal and gratitude after 7 hours of quality sleep.
No hangover, no cocaine, no anxiety, no paranoia, no curtain twitching, no endless scrolling, no “never again”
Life can be beautiful when you remove poison.
Have a great Sunday, #recoveryposse
