Weekend Scramble

The best place for all things golf

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Well shot tracker lasted all of two hours #pga

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

We’re still pushing this shit? #tgl #pga

[GOLF.com @GOLF_com]

Jackson Koivun is officially joining TGL. 👀

He will play on Motor City GC with Brooks Koepka for the team's first season.

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Yo YouTube tv can you make it a little easier to switch channels. Why do I have to search tnt ?

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

College team lost, NFL team lost, Fantasy team down 45 relying on sam laporta. PGA WE HAVE NEVER BEEN SO BACK. (Lowkey a solid field) #nfl #pga

The third event of the FedExCup Fall continues next week at the Baycurrent Classic at Yokohama Country Club in Yokohama, Japan.

Great comeback for the U.S. Team but we cannot forget abt the blunders early on. Going to need to revisit captaincy down the line and I would be fine if a few of these guys never auto qualified again (Henley) #presidentscup

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Yeah I’m starting to like this Koivun kid. That was a sick move walking after the tee ball on 18. Pipes it and feeling no nerves in his first team event #presidentscup

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

EVERY TIME YOU TURN ON THE PRESIDENTS CUP ITS A COMMERCIAL. THIS IS NOW YOU COMPETE WITH THE NFL #presidentscup

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

At the parents house so just one tv today. Watching red zone and flipped over to NBC for the presidents cup and they’re on commercial. Give it another 5 minutes and flip back and they’re on a playing through. Do you even want me to watch. #presidentscup

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Henley feeling all the nerves. This is why you bring big boy personalities and not just the best golfers. #pga

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Hopefully snedeker has some balls and doesn’t play Henley bridgeman again. Also can we bench burns and scheffler

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Brandt Snedeker saying the guys played good and hit good putts after getting swept in international play. Not even against the Europeans lmaoooo. This team is a joke #pga

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Whose idea was it to put Henley and Bridgeman together lol? #pga

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

This American team just does not impress me. Yes, these are all great players but not everyone can meet the pressure of team events. Scottie’s irons dialed but can’t make a putt. Burns blasted one Ob Clark is chunking three woods 200yds off the tee. Lucky this isn’t a Ryder cup

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

No Ryan Gerard is asinine. There are not that many presidents/ryder cup decisions for the USA captain to make. This isn’t being a GM. Yet they fuck at least one of them up every year. #pga

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Zach Johnson should be ashamed of himself. In no way should Michael Block be winning this event rn. #pga

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

@bballhawg Agreed.

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

Maybe a hot take… this past PGA season was a letdown. I can’t quite put my finger on the reason but I am thinking it’s some combination of
A) Terrible Broadcasts
B) Lack of PGA storylines
C) Small field events suck
D) We need players people actually can root for

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

But really the tour needs more out of the norm. All these guys appear the same. The PGA doesn’t get the same hometown automatic rooting interest other sports automatically get. So to cap off my rant… give us something to freakin root for and a little juice here and there

[Weekend Scramble @weekendscramble]

This also falls on the players and the tour. We need something - whether it be a true (non manufactured) rivalry, someone who dominates a few majors (and is okay with letting others know it), a few names to consistently stay at the top, more marketable players… cont.
