@ACW1971 Only last week I realised that it had been a long time since I worked on a children's book I am writing. Life has been so busy with entertaining and sickness of late. I did manage to write a chapter this week and decided I must write each week and finish it.

Finished this painting today - I enjoyed working on it.
A box of books arrived, too - to replace my stock which has sold over the past few weeks - so good to know that children are getting the books, and hopefully, enjoying them.

When I get stuck with my writing a walk always helps. One of my favourite places is Portland. It brings back many happy memories of my childhood. My book, 'A Pennyworth of Peppermints' begins with a message in a bottle found on Chesil beach. It is a WW1 spy story.

Today we have been to Bridport for a book 'event' at Good Books. There were nice cosy armchairs to sit in and chat to customers; hot drinks and home made cake! The shop had prepared a lovely display and we had some interested customers.

A great afternoon at the Chickerell Friendship club, talking to them about how and why I began to write books. I sold 10 books, which was encouraging.
