Whenever me and my ex slept together, I’d ask him to set the fan to 3 because it was hot. And every time he’d ask the same thing:

“Why do you have a blanket on if it’s hot?”

And every time I’d explain that I can’t sleep without a blanket. Not because I’m cold — it just gives me comfort.
It seems like such a small thing.
