@Weird_Friction This is not the complete collection of Shea’s weird fiction. This is a reprint of Centipede’s 2008 edition in 6x9. Joshi added new stories in his edition that are not going to be in Centipede’s.
@weirdtales has to be one of the worst publishing company. Took money more than a month ago to send magazine issues but never sent it. This happened second time. Happy never signed for their kickstarter. Card dispute it is. @JonathanMaberry@harlacher
@weirdtales@harlacher I have paid for Weird tales issue #372 and #371 weeks ago. No update on whether it has been shipped. Can you please ask your team to ship the order?
@JonathanMaberry@harlacher@weirdtales I have been trying to find the print issue of Weird Tales #368, #369 (Stokercon), #370. I have all the others since the new reboot. Any way you guys can help? Much appreciated.
As a driver who loves @Porsche and bought a Macan 7 years ago, and considering Taycan, I'm never going to buy Porsche again. Turbocharger problems are rampant in Macan and frustrating, yet they do nothing. @elonmusk, time for @Tesla?
@Hippocampus__ Thanks very much. I’ll be buying it shortly. Do you have an estimate when Momma Durtt will be available. Also the previously released Michael Shea’s tribute book: Death shall have no dominion?
@Hippocampus__ trying to find Kindle editions of Michael Shea‘s books you published including Momma Durtt, Mr Cannyharme and others. Where can I buy the digital edition?
@joelansdale@ron_clinton Can we possibly read your introduction to this book in some way? I don't think the Centipede Press edition is happening, considering it's been over a decade.
At some point, Centipede Press was almost close to publishing one of the literary classics, "Night of the Hunter," with an Introduction by @joelansdale and illustrations by Patrick Loehr—a screenshot of the beautiful haunting cover. One can still hope.
@TheSinsOfCinema@heksenhaus@strantzas@ramseycampbell1 It's two slipcased volumes and titled "Things Seen and Unseen". Art by Ruth Sanderson. This has, I believe, some new introduction from Lamsley (and potentially Ramsey Campbell) and in-memoriam about Lamsley's wife. One of the reasons why Lamsley stopped writing was her illness.
@fantagraphics are there any other Jacques Tardi books planned to be released this year. I hope you can restart publishing Nestor Burma and Adele Blanc-Sec series.
This weekend Centipede Press will sell Best of Weird Tales 1920s. The table of contents and price point makes it a must buy. Same dimensions as Masters of the weird tale. Over 30 stories and verses with new artwork by Jim Burns, Francesco Giani, Allen Koszowski. @weirdtales.
@RichardChizmar I have read that CD magazine is now glossy thicker paper stock. This is fantastic! @weirdtales revival switched to glossy color paper stock and it is beautiful. I hope you can incorporate color artwork in later issues just like Weird Tales.
Calling all centipede press collectors on X, please reach out to me if you plan to sell your collection, as I am trying to find all the past books. Preferably the books published before 2020.
@weirdtales This is wonderful. Any chance I can also buy the stokercon and the occult detective issues (no 368 and 369) along with 370. I only noticed once they were sold out. Have every other one since 363. I Love this new revival and welcome the faster publishing cycle.
@HaffnerPress I bought John the Balladeer about three years ago. Still haven’t seen any shipping notification. Can you please tell me when will it be shipped?
I received John Metcalfe Masters of weird tale from centipede press yesterday. This is the definitive edition with pretty much entire oeuvre of his weird fiction. A lot of illustrations. Contrast this with previous editions and you’ll realize Centipede press edition is a bargain
