@MilltownSoul @jim_demps No. Lowe started it. He’s a strange, low testosterone kind of chap. Should have been yellow carded. These New Zealanders look after each other.
@grippymedia@jaybrand16 Barely a touch.
Just an Ireland overthrow.
When replayed on stadium screen… hope Itoje asked ref if TMO would review it.
Conspiracy between ref and TMO.
Refs protected to make it appear they don’t make mistakes
@IamAustinHealey It was a high tackle.
TMO suggested to review it.
Ref said it okay.
Official with better view says there is something to look at?
Doesn’t get looked at?
It makes you wonder if there is a conspiracy to make it appear that refs do not make mistakes.
@canido_steve England fan here.
Drives me mad!
That WAS NOT a forward pass.
Yes. Ball went forward.
The pass went back.
Please.
Educate yourself on the laws.
And maybe basic physics.
Try inertia and momentum.
@giesapint@rugbyontnt My perspective on your reply is that you’re a bit of a prick - if you we wondering. However, still keen to see what your point was
@andrewfrugby Thanks for your input.
I am still searching for the examples of him being stepped.
Can’t find an objective case of it being his “fault”.
Hopefully someone else can help
@andrewfrugby Please.
Pretty please.
Pretty please with a cherry on top.
Just one good example.
Not one that after two replays you can clearly “blame” a team mate.
@andrewfrugby One actually good example.
I can’t possibly understand your perspective from the examples shown.
From the examples you’ve given, I can only possibly conclude you don’t like him.
Any really good examples you can share?
Your best example?
Not someone else’s fault.
Please.
@petersherratt1@ChrisMckenna89@TightFive_Rugby Itoje - after obviously seeing the replay on the stadium screen - should have brought it to the attention of the ref, and asked if the TMO would review it.
TMO, however, does not do anything that makes it look like red had made an error. It’s a conspiracy.
@ChrisMckenna89@TightFive_Rugby I hate criticising the referee.
However, today, he just wasn’t “it”.
Pushing at the lineout? No. Just an overthrow.
Next after whistle action is a yellow? No. If it’s Lowe.
@TightFive_Rugby That first half was pretty good.
That second half poor.
Still trying to reconcile whether Ireland stepped up, or England fell back in the second half.
Quite rare for such a distinct first v second half performance switch
