As you're out enjoying this beautiful spring weather, remember, if you see or find any wild baby animals, please do not touch or move them. Touching or moving them from their current environment can be dangerous for you and them. While these young animals may look abandoned, their parents are usually waiting until you leave to return. Touching these animals is also dangerous as they could be carrying deadly diseases like rabies. Rabies can spread by animal bites, scratches, or simply coming into contact with their saliva. The best way to protect yourself and these animals is to leave them alone. If you see an animal that appears to be hurt or injured, or is in a dangerous location, please call Colorado Parks and Wildlife at (970) 472-4300. For more information, visit https://t.co/eSoCPP77A6.
