When you decide to do a bit of weekend brainstorming for marketing content.... You gotta do it with a rainbow! ๐
Anyone else get pleasure from old school pen and paper to get ideas down?
P.S. Please don't tell my kids I've stolen their felt tips. They will kill me. โ ๏ธ #rainbow

There's been lots of help from our gov mates, but still people falling through the gaps. Now you can get a Bounce Back Loan. 100% gov backed. Get them from 4th May... it's a loan (repayable), but interest free for 12m. Could be the difference between sink or swim...
Still no idea what help you can get from the government? You're not alone!
Well our buddies at HMRC have been proactive and created this guide to seeing what you can get. I'm actually quite impressed. IKR?! Well done HMRC!

The HMRC portal is open! Today is the day! This is the one where you claim back the cost of paying furloughed staff.
I've had a look and it seems pretty straightforward. Make sure you've got your UTR or your company reg number.
And.... Go!

I'm not gonna mention the C word... Instead I'm just going to wish you a Happy Friday with a picture of a giraffe. You're very welcome.
It is Friday... Right?!

The 19/20 tax year won't be used to calculate the grants. They're only looking at 3 yrs to 18/19, and using an average. If you have less they'll average it over what you have, but if 19/20 is your only one, it's the UC route.
It won't hurt it get in early though. Obvs.
Universal credit is a state benefit and you don't have to pay it back or get taxed on it.
If you're going to claim for the 80% grant as well, your UC will drop that month and go back up again the next. Make sure you report your income on time so payments aren't delayed.
It was initially thought that Directors couldn't be furloughed, because Ltd co's need one active director.
As long as that director is only fulfilling their legal obligations, it's ok to go on furlough.
But... only your PAYE salary counts. Dividends aren't included. Soz.
@BoxesandC My kids have just started getting into Lego so I just have to contend with a "display" of makes on the windowledge at the moment. I fear this is my future though ๐ฌ #Solihullhour
