@lawtinaxiii It’s a great feeling. The first time I got a big verdict for a client, she cried when she picked up the check. Same feeling when it comes to settlements, especially if it’s been a hard fight and the insurance company eventually paid fair value.

@lawtinaxiii Oh absolutely. I didn’t mean to imply that the work life balance isn’t better on our side. When I did defense work, I had a 2,000-billable-hour requirement, so I would find things to bill for. Now, I work because I’m helping people. The money is also much better on our side.
