Bloke in Cambridge, trying to get over someone who broke my heart and trying to look after my Ma .. .. Buy shares + watch markets .. some go up but some .. ..
Andy Burnham had the power to stop the grooming gangs, but chose not to.
He spent his career minimising them, calling it “propaganda” and saying campaigners were “creating hate”.
He served in the Home Office under David Blunkett at a time when reports of widespread abuse poured in.
In 2003, survivor “Amy,” forced into sex acts with multiple men at just 13 years old, reported her ordeal to South Yorkshire Police.
The blood and DNA evidence she provided inexplicably disappeared.
Her family wrote directly to the Home Office.
Nothing was done.
Just months after Burnham took up his role as a Home Office minister, Greater Manchester Police closed down Operation Augusta.
This was set up after the horrific death of 15-year-old Victoria Agoglia, injected with heroin by a 50-year-old man.
Instead of pursuing justice for Victoria, the police blamed her “propensity to provide sexual favours.”
The perpetrator received a pathetic three-and-a-half-year sentence and was never charged with causing her death.
When the full horror in Greater Manchester finally emerged, Burnham as Mayor resisted calls for a proper national inquiry for years.
He only launched a limited local review after a TV documentary forced his hand.
Even that process was crippled.
The two men leading the review resigned after being blocked from accessing critical information.
The report itself revealed that authorities feared inflaming community tensions more than protecting children from repeated rape.
Maggie Oliver, the brave whistleblower said "when it comes to leadership and courage and gripping what is going on now, unfortunately, he turned away",
As a result "we missed a huge opportunity to bring changes that are needed".
Survivors have heckled and booed him at public meetings.
His reply? He stands by his record and accuses his critics of “creating hate”.
Not a single council worker or police officer in Greater Manchester has faced criminal proceedings for their role in this betrayal.
Now this shameless man seeks to use the very communities he betrayed to catapult him to higher office.
He is a disgrace and if he had any shame would apologise and bow out of this race.
I challenge every single person who believes minors should be enabled and even encouraged to transition to read this first person testimony to the end.

It's hard to believe she's in favour of child marriage and clitoral surgery and the beating of wives and stoning of
adultresses
Perhaps she's talking about Buddhism ?
Look at these Brave Iranians.
Look how courageous they are.
They walked into MACHINE GUNS.
They faced SNIPERS on rooftops.
In TOTAL DARKNESS
BARE-HANDED
But they NEVER TURNED BACK!
The regime killed 40,000+ of us.
But we never gave up — and we never will.
We RISE again and we will TAKE OUR FREEDOM back from this regime — whether you help us or not.
WE DESERVE FREEDOM.
Putin didn't invade Ukraine because of NATO. He invaded because Ukrainians were proving democracy works.
Historian and Pulitzer Prize winner Anne Applebaum puts it plainly: Putin looked at Ukraine's democratic movement and thought, "If they can do it in Ukraine, then people could do it in Russia. So I need to crush this."
That's the real threat Ukraine posed. Not missiles. Not borders. A working democracy next door.
Applebaum frames the war as a fault line between the democratic and autocratic worlds. Russia isn't just trying to take territory. It's trying to erase Ukraine as a nation, reduce it to a colony, and send a message to every country that the post-1945 rules of Europe no longer apply.
Those rules were simple: no invasions, no wars, borders don't change by force. Russia understood exactly what it was breaking when it crossed into Ukraine.
🚨🇬🇧 BREAKING: its been revealed that Andy Burnham snapped up an ex council flat in Kennington for just £215,000 in 2005 while serving as an MP.
He then happily billed taxpayers for the mortgage interest payments because the rules let him get away with it.
That same flat is now worth 480000 to 500000 pounds and he rents it out while insisting the income barely covers his costs and he makes no profit.
Yet this is the same man demanding rent freezes council housing takeovers and lower rents for ordinary people.
Pure hypocrisy from a classic Westminster grifter feathering his own nest on the back of the system he loves to lecture everyone else about.
UK is a sh#t show .
And jury can’t decide if assaulting police offers with huge punches to the face and body are deserving of jail time ?
@Keir_Starmer@DavidLammy you are a disgrace. UK is ashamed of you both .
Rashid Mazaheri is a former goalkeeper for the Iranian national football team. Missing since Feb for criticising Ali Khamenei during the January protests. Imagine a report that Joe Hart 🏴 was about to be executed for an Instagram post about the UK PM.
It’s been almost a month that she has been arrested by the Islamic Republic & there’s no information regarding her condition.
You have no idea what’s going on in the Islamic regime prisons & how barbaric & callous they are!

Members of the Women Courage Movement in Afghanistan continue to raise their voices despite threats, writing on walls against child marriage.
Child marriage is a violation of human dignity and a threat to the future of children. The world must not stay silent. Where is the UN?

This is Javid Khales, a young conscript in Iran's military. In January 2026, during the regime's brutal crackdown on peaceful protesters, he refused orders to open fire on unarmed civilians. Because of this, he was arrested and has now been sentenced to death.
We call on the international community, governments, human rights organisations, and world leaders to demand Javid Khales' immediate release. A young man who refused to kill his own people is not a criminal. He is a symbol of moral courage and the best of Iran.
Andy Burnham says men who identify as women should be able to use women's toilets.
Why would any woman - or any man who cares about the women + girls in his life - vote for ANY candidate who doesn't respect women's rights and safety? It's a deal breaker. https://t.co/e5dz4SR1mJ
Our Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine has obtained new Russian documents assessing the aggressor state’s losses from the war. Importantly, this is specifically a Russian internal assessment – one they are trying to conceal both from the world and from their own domestic audience.
The first major indicator is a reduction in active oil wells. Just a single Russian oil company – and not even the largest one – has already been forced to shut down around 400 wells. Given the specifics of Russian oil production, these are significant losses, as restarting wells in Russia is far more difficult than in other oil-producing countries.
The second indicator is a reduction in oil refining of at least 10% in just a few months this year alone. We see that our Ukrainian long-range sanctions are truly effective, and we will continue to scale up this line of our active actions. The data on the banking crisis in Russia is also quite convincing: 11 financial institutions are preparing for full liquidation due to problems that cannot be resolved by other means, while another eight banks have accumulated critical issues that cannot be addressed without external resources. This year’s federal budget deficit figures also look encouraging for us, standing at almost $80 billion by the fifth month of this year, alongside the bankruptcy of a significant number of Russian regional budgets.
I have also instructed the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Luhovskyi, to share, in a format that does not compromise our sources, the obtained information on Russia’s attempts to involve global companies in resolving its financial hardship and in sanction-evasion schemes. In particular, we have recorded attempts to organize the export of grain from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea – and, regrettably, other forms of economic exploitation of the peninsula involving entities from the United States. We will inform our partners. We are also recording attempts to bring investment and technology from democratic countries into Russia’s Arctic oil and gas projects. We know how to counter this. Thank you to everyone who helps us. Thank you to all our Ukrainian intelligence officers.
It's not racism, it's culturalism
A culture that aims to overpower all other cultures cannot claim to be 'victimised' if people object
If this aggressive culture soft-pedalled the beheading threats, people might be less alarmed by it
What kind of government rushes through executions of protesters from the previous uprising in 2022 in the middle of a war in 2026? Shame on the “progressive left” for being useful idiots to the most extreme far right fascism there is on the planet in the name of “anti imperialist resistance”. Absolutely disgraceful.
