Contextually, RvN had week(s) to fix this & showed zero solutions, just the same setup.

Then doubled down post-match that the issue was conceding first…yet that’s happened in 25/30PL games!

The Base (34pts)/Optimistic (50pts) points tallies were selected *before* the season—currently -8 on the baseline, -2.84 on xPTS, & -11 on the optimistic.

Trending towards an xPTS of ~27 for the campaign...

A subtle tweak in the 4-4-2 (OOP) has been split roles of Bilal, Vardy & Buona.

Primary role is to cover Kovačić (#6.) as recipient from CBs, but he’s dropping into awkward spaces for LEI to cover. If he comes close to CBs he’s Vardy’s marker, if he adjusts Buona has to track…

This profile piece is over two years old. Still, when I was asked to scout 4 potential "Vardy replacements", I earmarked Patson Daka (ahead of his Leicester move) & Odsonne Édouard as interesting profiles to monitor.

GW1: Baseline prediction loss, with an optimistic draw.
GW2: Baseline prediction/optimistic view was a draw.

So, we're par for baseline, just inverted.
