"It’s been confirmed by students we know who lived with Calocane in dedicated student accommodation last year in St Peter’s Court Nottingham that he was very introverted, never spoke and was very untidy

One of his flat mates in this 4/5 bedroom flat asked him to please clean the shower after use and Calocane physically attacked them (name of student provided to LittleBoats) and tried to kill them. This was in his first semester. Security and the police were called & so were aware there was a problem with him

Calocane then continued to attack & victimise this student on many occasions & trying to kill them. Again police were called as well as University security.

In the second semester Calocane was evicted from this accommodation because of these violent attacks so the Uni clearly knew he was dangerous.

What’s surprising is that he was allowed to continue his course and mix with other students although the Uni were aware of his violence and his risk to fellow students throughout that time.

He stalked and followed this particular student and was caught on CCTV trying to break into their residence with a weapon. The police on each occasion were called and they were told he would be dealt with. They were eventually told by the police that there were no beds available in a local hospital to assess Calocane's mental state.

This all took place between September 2021 and Easter 2022. The Police knew about his violent nature and extreme risk to others as well as Nottingham University yet he was allowed to continue his studies regardless of him being a known threat to the safety of others as it was announced he graduated.

The police lied when they initially said they knew nothing about him! Maybe that's why they've referred themselves to IPPC!

No wonder the Home Secretary is saying the police have dealt with the situation well in the aftermath because beforehand there clearly had been massive failings"
