A taxi driver has been cleared of stealing cash and luggage from David Lammy after a court heard that the Deputy Prime Minister’s claims were “incoherent”
Mr Mimun claimed Ms Green had a “fit” in the car and tried to open the door on the motorway. Ms Green attempted to withdraw cash to pay the €1,500 bill, but the dispenser “was not working”. He alleged that Mr Lammy, frustrated, “yelled ‘f---ing French’ and snatched the bill out of my hands”. He told the court he drove away in fear, forgetting that the couple’s luggage remained in the boot. “I was afraid it would end in a fight,” he said.
The court heard that he returned the luggage within a day. The Lammys later claimed that €700 of the €2,700 they had left in their bags was missing. Mr Mimun’s defence lawyer said the accusation was “incoherent” and made no sense. “If he had taken the money, he would not have brought back the luggage containing valuables”

That this is is a Cabinet Minister is an embarrassment.
Journalist Nick Shirley tells Donald Trump he has personally been on the ground for Antifa protests in America and overseas in the UK
- He’s seen the exact same protest signs used in America as overseas
- He has physically seen the exact same protesters getting off busses in multiple states
- He has personally seen the same protesters in the crowd at different protests in multiple states
“There's nothing organic about what they are doing here in the United States. I've watched people be bussed in from states.
I've watched the same leading lady at a protest in Atlanta, be bussed to the protest in DC, and then in New York City. There's nothing that is honest about what they are doing. And they have signs, I've seen the same signs here in DC and in London as well. It's a big organization and corporation that they're running.”
