MISSING – SELENA (12) & MAGGIE (10)

Selena and Maggie left to go to the Co-op in Caton at around 3pm on Saturday (1 August) and have not been seen by their family since.

They were later spotted around 8:30pm outside Lancaster McDonald’s with a group of girls unknown to the family.

They have never done this before. Their family are extremely worried.

Police, fire and rescue are actively searching the area with drones.

If you see them or know anything at all, contact Lancashire Police on 101 straight away.

Please share – help bring them home safe.

Police have launched an appeal to help locate missing soldier, Ryan Rudd.

Ryan, a member of the 1st Battalion, Royal Yorkshire Regiment, was last seen on February 15th - in Selby, North Yorkshire.

Charles Yarwood, known as Mike, is missing from the Amble area of Northumberland with growing concerns for his welfare.

He was last seen at around 11.30pm yesterday (21/11). Charles is 78, a white male, around 5ft 6in, of average build, with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a woolly hat, a leather jacket, and a head torch.

Anyone with information regarding Charles’ whereabouts is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101/999, quoting reference NP-20251122-0361.

BEACON ALERT: MISSING VETERAN

Garath Perkins, 46, has been reported missing, and there are serious concerns for his welfare.

He was last seen on Friday (7/11) in the Resolven area of South Wales. Although Garath lives in Llandysul, it is believed he may still be in the Neath/Resolven area.

Garath has a tattoo of a dragon on the side of his head, long grey hair, and a long beard, and he may be walking with a stick. He is usually seen wearing a camouflage jacket. His vehicle remains at home, and he is not believed to have access to other transport.

Anyone with information regarding Garath’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dyfed Powys police on 101/999 (reference number TBC).

A lot of you Twits have asked for my Christmas cookie recipe that I made yesterday..

So here it is ..

225g plain flour
185g butter
100g caster sugar (plus extra to sprinkle on top)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
5 tbls mincemeat
1 Egg

Preheat your oven to 180C
Beat the butter and sugar together till it is really light in colour and creamy and fluffy ..

Add the egg and mix till combined ..

Stir in the sifted flour and cinnamon and mix well ..

Grease an 8inch pie tin and line bottom ..

Place half the cookie dough in the bottom of the tin ..
Spread right up to the edges ..

Place the mincemeat in the microwave for ten seconds to heat it up or like me gently heat in a saucepan for a couple of minutes..

Spread the hot mincemeat over the cookie dough with a knife ..
Again right up to the edges ..

Dollop the rest of the dough on top and spread evenly…

Back for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown..

When it comes out the top will be a bit soft but will harden when cool ..

Sprinkle sugar on top and leave in the tin for ten minutes..
Then carefully remove from tin and cool completely..

Enjoy ….

His phone has been switched off since he vent missing, and he is not believed to have access to a vehicle.
