It’s NEW TOWNS DAY!

WORLD CUP OF UK POST-WAR NEW TOWNS – THE FINAL

Happy New Year! Thanks so much to everyone for voting. The semis saw the departure of giants Milton Keynes and Harlow, leaving two post-war new towns to battle it out...

[Marc Cross @welshcrossy]

Super proud of Amelia. She has been trying so hard to get star of the week and her work has paid off. Shes even teaching me Welsh 😱😂

[Llanyrafon Primary @LlanyPrimary]

Congratulations to our Reception Stars of the week! They have tried hard with their learning this week and are making great progress in their Maths & Literacy!! You blew our socks 🧦 off. Bendigedig! @wgmin_education @EAS_FoundationP

Im not one for podcasts but @distantpod is absolutely brilliant. Catching up on them at the moment and the Llanelli Kimbo Slice had me in tears.

[Marc Cross @welshcrossy]

@WalesOnline He was heading to Cumtillery

[Marc Cross @welshcrossy]

Very worrying for pupils. GCSE pupils should at least be given the opportunity to sit the core subjects English, Maths and Science. A teacher assessment can be biased whereas an exam can't be.

[Welsh Government @WelshGovernment]

There will be no GCSE, AS Level or A Level exams next year.

It's a matter of fairness. The pandemic has made it impossible to guarantee a level playing field.

This eases pressure and creates time in the summer term for young people to continue learning and building confidence.

[Marc Cross @welshcrossy]

Huge congrats to @JonnyClay9 @Gezzyprice. Come on the boys.

[PDC Darts @OfficialPDC]

WALES ARE WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏆

A truly dominant performance all weekend from Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton as they win the 2020 @BetVictor World Cup of Darts for the first time!

They beat England 3-0 in the final to lift the title

[Sky Sports Premier League @SkySportsPL]

"I really would like to end my contract with Sky - I know you have to have some filter when you talk on TV." 😳

Patrice Evra's emotional post-match thoughts following #MUFC's 6-1 defeat to Spurs is a *MUST WATCH*! 😮🟥

[Marc Cross @welshcrossy]

@laura_woodsy is a breath of fresh air on @SkySports. Keep up the good work 👍

[Marc Cross @welshcrossy]

Disappointed that @Morrisons Cwmbran didn't have the QR code on display for the new @NHSCOVID19app.

[Marc Cross @welshcrossy]

@NadineDobbs @torfaencouncil We said the exact same thing when we went 2 weeks ago. The council have really let it fall into disrepair
