@melisizm0 Priscilla. It’s my great grandmother’s name. Priscilla can be interpreted as "the venerable one," "the ancient one," or "the esteemed woman."
Therapy session this afternoon, which means a quick train ride into the city with my beautiful wife. Days like this are sweeter than honey and give me the warm and fuzzies. Luckiest lass in all the land ♥️
I’ve had strep for the 5th time in the last six or so months. I mean my god dude just chop my tonsils out at this point because I am SO tired of constantly being ill!
Ahhh genetic counselling for baby bean tomorrow! And then fingers crossed we get to start hormone injections and then it’ll be egg removal, egg retrieval and then the long awaited embryo implantation!
Watching the book of Revelation slowly unfolding right in front of us in real time is such a solemn, gut wrenching, nightmare. Yes, I know how the story ends and I do find peace and comfort in that. However, it doesn’t take away the unnerving foreknowledge of what’s yet to come.
Well, it’s finally official 🧸🤍 we’ve purchased a few vials from our sperm donor! It should arrive at our clinic in just a few days and then before long little baby Welsh will make their way into our word.
Today I had the honor of helping my wife clean and tend to her father’s gravesite. (If you don’t know, robins hold the same symbolism in the UK that cardinals do in the US). A robin randomly landed above my wife’s head, sang the most beautiful, melodious song before flying away.
A little cheeky, all-knowing, “I’m always here. Thank you for visiting. Until next time, my dears.” And then the robin, our robin, flew away up into the sunny sky to the cheers & laughter of the local children playing rugby nearby. Needless to say I was a tearful, puddly mess 🥺
My world is a better, brighter, more beautiful place without you in it. My happiness no longer has to live in the shadows. My entire being has rid itself of the weight of you & all I feel is peace. Thank you, from the depths of my soul, for freeing me. Life is truly limitless now.
UK fam is here to celebrate the holidays and Helen’s birthday early with us now and then we leave for sunny Florida on Sunday to carry on the festivities with our US family for 5 whole weeks!! We are beyond blessed to be surrounded by so much love and warmth this year 🎄🎁🥰☃️
If you’d have told me last year that today I’d be married to my best friend, living in England and now beginning our journey into motherhood, I would’ve thought you were insane…but here we are 🥹 and it’s better than anything I could’ve ever even thought to ask for.
