Been reading with interest events which have unfolded today. I don't know the Fanzone lad but I do know Matt. Not a malicious bone in his body. Gives up hours and hours to bring you views, news and opinions in this somewhat surreal content creation space we co-exist within.
Put simply, support your fellow fans. Support your mates. We're just regular fans. Sometimes we get things right, sometimes we get things wrong.
In the fullness of time, I think Tom will probably regret taking such a drastic step. It should never be about stepping on toes or engagement farming - do it for the love first and foremost.
Extremely disappointed with @WxmAFCFanzone getting a fellow fans channel deleted, what happened to comradery between fans, we are a community, you are filming something that doesn’t belong to you and gate keeping it as if it’s your own, the mask has slipped.
Such a sad overreaction. Anyone that knows Matt knows that given the opportunity, he’d have absolutely addressed this. I understand the frustration of people using content you’ve created without permission, I’ve had it with several of my photos, but I’ve also had people go about it the right way and in those instances, I’ve always been happy to work with people. Those of us that are involved in producing content don’t do it for praise or money, we give up countless hours for the love of the football club. Matt’s content was appreciated by fans around the world, so it’s a shame for all of them that this has now gone. Seems so silly for something that could have been addressed so easily 🤷🏼♂️
This is so sad to see. When people who love the club put their time and effort in to produce something that gives people around the world joy, it’s really cruel for it to be taken away. Most things can be sorted with communication but only if it’s two-way. Come Back Stronger 💪
This is poor from @WxmAFCFanzone. Could have at least given proper warning personally to not use your content and ask if Matt could change the intro. @racecourserambl has put in a lot of work on the men's and women's side of things and to lose all this content over this isunjust
I'm gutted for Matt to have lost hours n hours of content that he has created, content that genuine Wrexham fans have loved watching. To not be able to defend and put right is disappointing @racecourserambl
This is really poor. Matt has spent hours creating fan content that has really been appreciated by supporters all over the world, now all lost. Matt would have happily fixed any issues that may have been raised but wasn’t given the opportunity. Please reach out.
Every great dynasty starts with a visionary. None of the success of the current side would have been possible without @GemmaOwenWxmAFC She was there, keeping the dream alive when few others were interested. Her hard work and dedication will never be forgotten by the Wrexham fans.
