@Kahoot - my district has gotten bombarded Kahoot billing messages and SPAM garbage this week 😵‍💫 contacted support and was told TALKING to a human to resolve this problem is NOT an option. Pathetic.

Essential practices now and in the future: 1) Accurate feedback to students and teachers (never the average of past performance); 2) Focused instruction (Ppower Standards - not frantic coverage). 3) Effective practice (in class, not homework).

Specific actions leadaers can take now. 1) Suspend “automatic failure” policies, such as mandatory failures for 10 absences ;2) Evaluate students based on proficiency, not compliance and missing assignments; 3) Review any D/F grade abefore they go to parents.

I’ve read how to open schools from “experts” and the CDC ...don’t think they’ve been in schools..but I have..I’ve been a principal for 20 years..got some experience over the years ...if schools are expected to social distance....it’s not possible ..Don’t politicize our kids!

Please understand this: We are all trying our best. Teachers are trying their best. Students are trying their best. Parents are trying their best. Administrators are trying their best. Districts are trying their best. Empathy, kindness, and understanding is critical.

Thank you Painesville for your support in renewing the Lake County School Financing District levy. The continuation of this funding is essential for serving our kids, particularly in these uncertain times. We are deeply appreciative of your support. #PainesvillePride
