@MBCook2@BarbaraDixon__ It is an incredible story! One had to be born first to save her and the other stayed inside mum for another 5 weeks. Honestly worth searching back the timeline to see the full story.
@historical_kate I’m incredibly lucky. I was inspired by seeing Otto Frank’s interview on Blue Peter. She asked for the visit to Anne Frank’s House after reading the diary and the visit to Auschwitz is after learning more at school - taking my great niece too along with my 70 year old sister.
@Tesco I’m sure I’ll get the security tag off but it made me laugh so much when I took it out of the box. My family think you are trying to tell me something!!
@autcareandshare@RoundLike Very few cruise lines - maybe MSC and Costa - would have things translated in that way. None of the American companies would do that - translation is offered separately for example for safety briefings. @autcareandshare Disney is expensive but fabulous - as adults we loved it.
For every retweet of this post, I will donate £1 to the @VC_and_GC_Assoc up to £50,000.
Time is running out following @I_W_M’s decision to close the Lord Ashcroft Gallery.
Visit while you still can, to honour the bravery of those who risked so much to protect our great nation.
@nickfshort@KeithLoweAuthor Thank you for sharing. The Museum is excellent and I can certainly spot the original ideas in it. I’ll look for them even more closely when I return for my third visit.
@historical_kate@WW2EditionPod After watching Otto Frank on Blue Peter, and thinking a concentration camp/extermination camp was like a Brownie camp my dad and uncle gave me books to help educate me. I was extremely lucky to be encouraged to read.
These have arrived! - the finished, hardback copies of a little book I've written about the joyfully unpredictable experience of producing Father Ted.
Publication is Feb 20th but I'd like to give away two copies early - RT by Saturday 6pm and my dog Watson will pick the winners.
