Again, I never wrote this fake letter. My work on modesty is not about attacking other women; it's about promoting an internal sense of self & helping young people to be comfortable setting their own boundaries. I am against all kinds of extremism, whether from the Left or Right.
May Shiri, Ariel and Kfir's memory be a blessing for Yarden Bibas always, and may we all be guarded so we don’t sink into darkness. https://t.co/HYJOdG28xq
As someone whose grandfather was born in 1899 in Stanislav, Poland (now Ivano-Frankivsk in Ukraine) and as an immunocompromised conservative, I find this tweet offensive on so many levels. I guess it kind of makes sense, though, if one is confused about what freedom means.
@pinidunner I interpreted the (courageous) author's comment as referencing those who misuse the Sefer Chofetz Chaim. On my fridge, a Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation poster shows the "7 Rules of Toeles" would support reporting predators; e.g."It is clear that the action was really wrong."
I keep hearing that vaccine protests are about the right to privacy but sorry, if you're dropping your pants to protest your right to privacy, it seems that this is about something else entirely. https://t.co/MSu4Ka1JVN
Now that UNICEF trusts the Taliban on girls' education, maybe the Taliban can now join Iran in leading the UN's Commission on the Status of Women and then this farce can be complete.
“I’m Daria, daughter of Alexei @navalny—one of Putin's top rivals.”
@Dasha_Navalnaya, daughter of poisoned & jailed #Russian opposition leader, gives her first public speech to #GenevaSummit2021 to accept #MoralCourageAward on her father's behalf.

When studying the rise of anti-Jewish vandalism and attacks, remember CNN wrote that Hamas launching 4000+ rockets from civilian areas was what "the Israeli government has accused Hamas of." When Hamas terror is a matter of opinion, hate crimes against Jews will always be a fact.
“Who's behind recent rise in US anti-Semitic attacks?” wonders the BBC. Did they drop their “Hitler was right” reporter yet? Even when BBC reported on "rape their daughters” convoy in Golders Green, no details—just “appeared to show” anti-Semitism. Biased coverage fuels violence.
Yesterday I was also on a 1PM flight met by police upon arrival (one passenger assaulted another). #DeltaAirlines flight crew did a great job de-escalating but it was still upsetting; I can't even imagine the horror when the police are the bad guys. Praying for #RomanProtasevich!
I keep hearing from writers and scientists that we should care about those suffocating in India, because it will affect our lives if COVID surges elsewhere. Remember the days when we cared about people suffering in other countries just because they're human beings? I miss that.
If a woman trapped in an abusive marriage calls the police, only for them to appoint her abusive husband the head of the domestic-violence hotline for the next 4 years, how can you sidestep this? Believing in "women's rights" in general is not a free pass to ignore actual wrongs.
Twice Canada's foreign minister @MarcGarneau was asked by @GarnettGenuis to condemn Iran's election to the UN Women's Rights Commission.
Twice he refused to say a word.
As a 🇨🇦 Canadian, I am ashamed at this betrayal of subjugated Iranian women, and of women's rights worldwide.
I haven't yet heard a statement from Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield @USAmbUN regarding Iran joining the Commission on the Status of Women, but it would be very reassuring to hear from her now, and to know that the US didn’t vote for this.
We cannot rest until we learn which four democracies voted for Iran’s misogynistic regime to head the Commission on the Status of Women. Better to dissolve the UN rather than enable this farce, which allows cruelty to continue and, now, to lead? There must be accountability.
Yesterday in this event in Swedish parliament along with the UN special rapporteur, I condemned the UN’s election of Islamic Republic of Iran to its commission on the status of women.
Please listen & share the message of Iranian women’s rights activists with your government.
I know life moves fast but somehow, I thought it would take longer to go from "The Book of Virtues" to "We did not send him there to 'do the right thing' or whatever."
@dflyn12 @Nike I agree with you that Nike should have donated instead, especially at a time like this. But given that they made this gift, why Kylie didn't give the shoes away to those who are less fortunate is even harder to understand.
