I'm still surprised that NASCAR hasn't taken legal action for this. They didn't sign the deal with NBC just for NBC to offload the rights to Versant. IMSA is still a NBC Sports property but not NASCAR.

It's been emphasized on this media call that USA Sports (Versant) is completely separate from NBC now, even though a few races will air on NBC. For the NBC races, it's going to be all "USA Sports" branding; it's not "NBC Sports."
