As a first year teacher, I was overwhelmed with everything and didn’t make time for myself. I would always bring work home and stay up past midnight to plan.
My goal for Term 2 (and the rest of the year) is to slow down and take a break.

As I begin teaching support unit this term, using flash cards is a must when it comes to communicating with the students and their needs.
I have been offered to teach a class with students who are non-verbal, and it will be such a great learning experience!
