gonna give my two cents that no one asked for on this. i don’t find it weird at all as long as the fan isn’t crossing any boundaries. just like your local coffee shop is likely to remember you after a few visits, the same can be said for idols. they’re human beings. i don’t understand why we have to make everything weird. not every fan participating in fancalls/fansigns is a parasocial weirdo, and i personally think people like to frame them in this way to guard their jealousy
